The wondrous splendor of virtue. — For light to shine in the ways of the just is, through the wondrous works of the virtues, to sprinkle the signs of one's own brightness, so that wherever they proceed by their intention, they may shake off the night of sin from the hearts of those who behold them, and by the example of their own work may pour into them the light of righteousness.
