Verse 14. — Fear seized upon me, and trembling, and all my bones were terrified. 47. They now feign themselves afraid. — For because they desire to seem wondrous through the loftiness of their doctrine, they as it were dread the things they feign; and since it is of less labor to hear than to speak, they are bold to bring forth those things which they assert, namely, that they themselves could scarcely hear.
