Verse 11. — They have opened their mouths upon me, reproaching. 14. The mouth of the devil are those who preach errors. — The reprobate open their mouths in reproaching when they both fear not to preach the evils of their error, and mock the teachings of the right faith. Concerning whom it is to be known that they especially persecute in holy Church those whom they perceive to be about to profit many — those who crush the life of the carnal by the word of correction, and turn them spiritually within the body of the Church.
