Eliphaz's harsh words against Job. — For what does he call the roaring of the lion, but, as we have set forth a little before, the severity of the man? What the voice of the lioness, but the loquacity of the wife? What the teeth of the lions' whelps, but the devouring appetite of the offspring? For because his sons, while feasting, were destroyed, they are signified by the expression of teeth.
