Verse 26.—All darkness is hidden in his secret places. 34. All vices are bound together in the mind of the hypocrite.—For although the hypocrite stretches out good actions on the surface, yet certain darknesses of evil works appear in him; but nevertheless less comes forth in the work than lies hidden in his thought. For he who does not fulfil all things at once in effect, holds silently in the mind all the things that would harm.
