ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

The same place. — Fearing God, and departing from evil. 17. How He feared God. — It is written of Him: 'And the spirit of the fear of the Lord filled Him' (Isa. xi, 3). For the incarnate Lord showed forth in Himself all that He inspired in us; that what He might say by precept, He might persuade by example. According to the nature of His humanity, then, our Redeemer feared God; because, in order to redeem proud man, He took for him a humble mind. Of whom well, by this, that Job is said to depart from evil, His action too is designated. For He indeed departed from evil, not that which He touched by doing, but that which He reproved by finding: because He forsook the old life of human conversation, which being born He found; and impressed upon the manners of His followers the new life which He brought with Himself.
