Psalms 43

Greek original · 5 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 42ch. 44 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 43 here = Ps 42 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

43:1
ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ κρῖνόν με ὁ θεός καὶ δίκασον τὴν δίκην μου ἐξ ἔθνους οὐχ ὁσίου ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἀδίκου καὶ δολίου ῥῦσαί με
A psalm of David. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an unholy nation; deliver me from an unjust and deceitful man.
大衛的詩。神啊,求你為我伸冤,向不聖潔的國為我辨屈;求你救我脫離不義詭詐的人。
43:2
ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ θεός κραταίωμά μου ἵνα τί ἀπώσω με καὶ ἵνα τί σκυθρωπάζων πορεύομαι ἐν τῷ ἐκθλίβειν τὸν ἐχθρόν μου
For you are God, my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? And why do I go about in gloom while my enemy oppresses me?
因為你是神,是我的力量;你為何丟棄我呢?我為何因仇敵的欺壓時常愁容而行呢?
43:3
ἐξαπόστειλον τὸ φῶς σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου αὐτά με ὡδήγησαν καὶ ἤγαγόν με εἰς ὄρος ἅγιόν σου καὶ εἰς τὰ σκηνώματά σου
Send out your light and your truth; they led me and brought me to your holy mountain and to your tents.
求你發出你的亮光和你的真實;它們就引導我,領我到你的聖山,到你的帳幕。
43:4
καὶ εἰσελεύσομαι πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ θεοῦ πρὸς τὸν θεὸν τὸν εὐφραίνοντα τὴν νεότητά μου ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν κιθάρᾳ ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεός μου
And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth; I will give thanks to you with a lyre, O God, my God.
我就走到神的祭壇,到神那裡,就是使我年少歡暢的神。神啊,我的神,我要彈琴稱謝你。
43:5
ἵνα τί περίλυπος εἶ ψυχή καὶ ἵνα τί συνταράσσεις με ἔλπισον ἐπὶ τὸν θεόν ὅτι ἐξομολογήσομαι αὐτῷ σωτήριον τοῦ προσώπου μου ὁ θεός μου
Why are you deeply grieved, O soul, and why do you trouble me? Hope in God, for I will give thanks to him—the salvation of my countenance, my God.
我的魂哪,你為何極其憂傷?為何在我裡面煩擾呢?應當仰望神,因我還要稱謝他。他是我臉面的拯救,是我的神。
