⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering , which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 27 here = Ps 26 in print . Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging . Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation , made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Of David. Before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my savior; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When evildoers drew near against me to eat up my flesh, those who afflict me and my enemies, they themselves grew weak and fell.
If an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; if war should rise up against me, in this I hope.

One thing I asked of the Lord, this I will seek out: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, that I may behold the delightfulness of the Lord and visit his temple.

For he hid me in a tent in the day of my troubles; he sheltered me in the secret place of his tent; he set me high upon a rock.
And now, behold, he has lifted up my head above my enemies; I went around and sacrificed in his tent a sacrifice of jubilation; I will sing and sing praise to the Lord.
Hear, O Lord, my voice with which I cried out; have mercy on me and hear me.
To you my heart said: My face sought; your face, O Lord, I will seek.
Do not turn your face away from me; do not turn aside in anger from your servant; be my helper; do not cast me off and do not forsake me, O God my savior.
For my father and my mother forsook me, but the Lord took me up.
Instruct me, O Lord, in your way, and guide me in a straight path because of my enemies.
Do not hand me over to the souls of those who afflict me, for unjust witnesses have risen up against me, and injustice lied to itself.

Wait for the Lord; be manly, and let your heart be strong; and wait for the Lord.
