Psalms 129

Greek original · 8 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 128ch. 130 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 129 here = Ps 128 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

129:1
ᾠδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν πλεονάκις ἐπολέμησάν με ἐκ νεότητός μου εἰπάτω δὴ Ισραηλ
A song of the ascents. Many times they have fought against me from my youth — let Israel now say —
上行之歌。以色列要說:從我幼年以來,他們屢次攻擊我。
129:2
πλεονάκις ἐπολέμησάν με ἐκ νεότητός μου καὶ γὰρ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησάν μοι
Many times they have fought against me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me.
從我幼年以來,他們屢次攻擊我,卻沒有勝過我。
129:3
ἐπὶ τοῦ νώτου μου ἐτέκταινον οἱ ἁμαρτωλοί ἐμάκρυναν τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν
Upon my back sinners wrought; they prolonged their lawlessness.
罪人在我的背上動工,加長他們的不義。
129:4
κύριος δίκαιος συνέκοψεν αὐχένας ἁμαρτωλῶν
The Lord is righteous; he cut off the necks of sinners.
主是公義的;他砍斷了罪人的頸項。
129:5
αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ἀποστραφήτωσαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω πάντες οἱ μισοῦντες Σιων
Let all who hate Sion be put to shame and turned back.
願一切恨惡錫安的人,都蒙羞退後。
129:6
γενηθήτωσαν ὡς χόρτος δωμάτων ὃς πρὸ τοῦ ἐκσπασθῆναι ἐξηράνθη
Let them become like grass on the housetops, which withers before it is plucked up,
願他們像房頂上的草,未被拔出就已枯乾,
129:7
οὗ οὐκ ἐπλήρωσεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ὁ θερίζων καὶ τὸν κόλπον αὐτοῦ ὁ τὰ δράγματα συλλέγων
with which the reaper does not fill his hand, nor he who gathers the sheaves his bosom.
收割的不能用它滿手,捆禾的也不能用它滿懷。
129:8
καὶ οὐκ εἶπαν οἱ παράγοντες εὐλογία κυρίου ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς εὐλογήκαμεν ὑμᾶς ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου
Nor do those who pass by say, "The blessing of the Lord be upon you; we bless you in the name of the Lord."
過路的也不說:「願主的福歸與你們!我們奉主的名給你們祝福。」
