⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering , which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 53 here = Ps 52 in print . Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging . Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation , made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

The fool said in his heart, There is no God. They were corrupted and became abominable in lawless deeds; there is no one who does good.
God peered down from heaven on the sons of men, to see if there was anyone who understood or sought after God.
All have turned aside; together they became worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.
Will not all the workers of lawlessness know, those who eat up my people as they eat bread? They did not call upon God.
There they feared with fear where there was no fear, for God scattered the bones of men-pleasers; they were put to shame, for God despised them.

Who will give the salvation of Israel out of Sion? When the Lord turns back the captivity of his people, Iakob will rejoice and Israel will be glad.
