Psalms 120

Greek original · 7 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 119ch. 121 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 120 here = Ps 119 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

ᾠδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαί με ἐκέκραξα καὶ εἰσήκουσέν μου
A song of the ascents. To the Lord, in my affliction, I cried out, and he heard me.
上行之歌。我在患難中向主呼求,他就應允了我。

κύριε ῥῦσαι τὴν ψυχήν μου ἀπὸ χειλέων ἀδίκων καὶ ἀπὸ γλώσσης δολίας
O Lord, deliver my soul from unjust lips and from a deceitful tongue.
主啊,求你救我的魂脫離不義的嘴唇和詭詐的舌頭。
120:3
τί δοθείη σοι καὶ τί προστεθείη σοι πρὸς γλῶσσαν δολίαν
What shall be given to you, and what shall be added to you, against a deceitful tongue?
有甚麼要給你呢?有甚麼要加給你,好對付詭詐的舌頭呢?
120:4
τὰ βέλη τοῦ δυνατοῦ ἠκονημένα σὺν τοῖς ἄνθραξιν τοῖς ἐρημικοῖς
The sharpened arrows of the mighty one, with the coals of the wilderness.
就是勇士磨利的箭,和曠野的炭火。
120:5
οἴμμοι ὅτι ἡ παροικία μου ἐμακρύνθη κατεσκήνωσα μετὰ τῶν σκηνωμάτων Κηδαρ
Woe is me, for my sojourning has been prolonged; I have encamped among the tents of Kedar.
我有禍了!因我寄居的日子延長,我與基達的帳棚同住。
120:6
πολλὰ παρῴκησεν ἡ ψυχή μου
My soul has sojourned long.
我的魂寄居已久。
120:7
μετὰ τῶν μισούντων τὴν εἰρήνην ἤμην εἰρηνικός ὅταν ἐλάλουν αὐτοῖς ἐπολέμουν με δωρεάν
With those who hate peace I was peaceable; when I spoke to them, they made war on me without cause.
我在恨惡和平的人中間,仍是和平的;我向他們說話的時候,他們卻無故與我爭戰。
