Since it has come to us that certain clerics of some church of Italy have sold sacred vessels in Sicily, we have therefore dispatched Pantaleo, our notary, to search out those same vessels by careful investigation. But after he was taken up in service to your Holiness, we have learned that he has neglected this same business. It behooves, therefore, your Fraternity to make suitable provision with due solicitude, so that, at the time you judge it useful, you may release him to carry out these very matters; so that you also may have consolation from him, and he himself may be able, with God's help, wholesomely to accomplish what has been entrusted to him;
