Psalms 60

Latin original · 13 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 59ch. 61 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Septuagint, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 60 here = Ps 59 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
⚠️ The Chinese and English alongside are the CUV and the WEB, both translated from the Masoretic Text; they follow a different textual tradition from the Greek and Latin shown here and will disagree in places.
ℹ️ Some verses here have no matching verse in the public-domain translations (the Psalm superscriptions are not numbered verses in the CUV or the WEB). Those verses were translated by this site with AI (Claude), not taken from the WEB.

60:1
Deus, repulisti nos, et destruxisti nos ; iratus es, et misertus es nobis.
God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
上帝啊,你丟棄了我們,使我們破敗; 你向我們發怒,求你使我們復興!
60:2
Commovisti terram, et conturbasti eam ; sana contritiones ejus, quia commota est.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
你使地震動,而且崩裂; 求你將裂口醫好,因為地搖動。
60:3
Ostendisti populo tuo dura ; potasti nos vino compunctionis.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
你叫你的民遇見艱難; 你叫我們喝那使人東倒西歪的酒。
60:4
Dedisti metuentibus te significationem, ut fugiant a facie arcus ; ut liberentur dilecti tui.
You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
你把旌旗賜給敬畏你的人, 可以為真理揚起來。(細拉)
60:5
Salvum fac dextera tua, et exaudi me.
So that your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
求你應允我們,用右手拯救我們, 好叫你所親愛的人得救。
60:6
Deus locutus est in sancto suo : laetabor, et partibor Sichimam ; et convallem tabernaculorum metibor.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
上帝已經指着他的聖潔說 :我要歡樂; 我要分開示劍,丈量疏割谷。
60:7
Meus est Galaad, et meus est Manasses ; et Ephraim fortitudo capitis mei. Juda rex meus ;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Judah is my scepter.
基列是我的,瑪拿西也是我的。 以法蓮是護衛我頭的; 猶大是我的杖。
60:8
Moab olla spei meae. In Idumaeam extendam calceamentum meum : mihi alienigenae subditi sunt.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”
摩押是我的沐浴盆; 我要向以東拋鞋。 非利士啊,你還能因我歡呼嗎?
60:9
Quis deducet me in civitatem munitam ? quis deducet me usque in Idumaeam ?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom?
誰能領我進堅固城? 誰能引我到以東地?
60:10
nonne tu, Deus, qui repulisti nos ? et non egredieris, Deus, in virtutibus nostris ?
Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.
上帝啊,你不是丟棄了我們嗎? 上帝啊,你不和我們的軍兵同去嗎?
60:11
Da nobis auxilium de tribulatione, quia vana salus hominis.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
求你幫助我們攻擊敵人, 因為人的幫助是枉然的。
60:12
In Deo faciemus virtutem ; et ipse ad nihilum deducet tribulantes nos.
Through God we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
我們倚靠上帝才得施展大能, 因為踐踏我們敵人的就是他。
