Psalms 142

Latin original · 8 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 141ch. 143 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Septuagint, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 142 here = Ps 141 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
⚠️ The Chinese and English alongside are the CUV and the WEB, both translated from the Masoretic Text; they follow a different textual tradition from the Greek and Latin shown here and will disagree in places.
ℹ️ Some verses here have no matching verse in the public-domain translations (the Psalm superscriptions are not numbered verses in the CUV or the WEB). Those verses were translated by this site with AI (Claude), not taken from the WEB.

142:0
Intellectus David, cum esset in spelunca, oratio.
Understanding of David, when he was in the cave; a prayer.
大衛在洞裡的訓誨詩,乃是祈禱。
142:1
Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi, voce mea ad Dominum deprecatus sum.
I cry with my voice to Yahweh. With my voice, I ask Yahweh for mercy.
我發聲哀告耶和華, 發聲懇求耶和華。
142:2
Effundo in conspectu ejus orationem meam, et tribulationem meam ante ipsum pronuntio :
I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles.
我在他面前吐露我的苦情, 陳說我的患難。
142:3
in deficiendo ex me spiritum meum, et tu cognovisti semitas meas. In via hac qua ambulabam absconderunt laqueum mihi.
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my route. On the path in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me.
我的靈在我裏面發昏的時候, 你知道我的道路。 在我行的路上, 敵人為我暗設網羅。
142:4
Considerabam ad dexteram, et videbam, et non erat qui cognosceret me : periit fuga a me, et non est qui requirat animam meam.
Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.
求你向我右邊觀看, 因為沒有人認識我; 我無處避難, 也沒有人眷顧我。
142:5
Clamavi ad te, Domine ; dixi : Tu es spes mea, portio mea in terra viventium.
I cried to you, Yahweh. I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
耶和華啊,我曾向你哀求。 我說:你是我的避難所; 在活人之地,你是我的福分。
142:6
Intende ad deprecationem meam, quia humiliatus sum nimis. Libera me a persequentibus me, quia confortati sunt super me.
Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.
求你側耳聽我的呼求, 因我落到極卑之地; 求你救我脫離逼迫我的人, 因為他們比我強盛。
142:7
Educ de custodia animam meam ad confitendum nomini tuo ; me exspectant justi donec retribuas mihi.
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.
求你領我出離被囚之地, 我好稱讚你的名。 義人必環繞我, 因為你是用厚恩待我。
