Psalms 6

Latin original · 11 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 5ch. 7 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Septuagint, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
⚠️ The Chinese and English alongside are the CUV and the WEB, both translated from the Masoretic Text; they follow a different textual tradition from the Greek and Latin shown here and will disagree in places.
ℹ️ Some verses here have no matching verse in the public-domain translations (the Psalm superscriptions are not numbered verses in the CUV or the WEB). Those verses were translated by this site with AI (Claude), not taken from the WEB.

In finem, in carminibus. Psalmus David. Pro octava.
To the end, in songs. A Psalm of David. For the octave.

6:1
Domine, ne in furore tuo arguas me, neque in ira tua corripias me.
Yahweh, don’t rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
耶和華啊,求你不要在怒中責備我, 也不要在烈怒中懲罰我!
6:2
Miserere mei, Domine, quoniam infirmus sum ; sana me, Domine, quoniam conturbata sunt ossa mea.
Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint. Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
耶和華啊,求你可憐我,因為我軟弱。 耶和華啊,求你醫治我,因為我的骨頭發戰。
6:3
Et anima mea turbata est valde ; sed tu, Domine, usquequo ?
My soul is also in great anguish. But you, Yahweh—how long?
我心也大大地驚惶。 耶和華啊,你要到幾時才救我呢?
6:4
Convertere, Domine, et eripe animam meam ; salvum me fac propter misericordiam tuam.
Return, Yahweh. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness’ sake.
耶和華啊,求你轉回搭救我! 因你的慈愛拯救我。
6:5
Quoniam non est in morte qui memor sit tui ; in inferno autem quis confitebitur tibi ?
For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks?
因為,在死地無人記念你, 在陰間有誰稱謝你?
6:6
Laboravi in gemitu meo ; lavabo per singulas noctes lectum meum : lacrimis meis stratum meum rigabo.
I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.
我因唉哼而困乏; 我每夜流淚,把床榻漂起, 把褥子濕透。
6:7
Turbatus est a furore oculus meus ; inveteravi inter omnes inimicos meos.
My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
我因憂愁眼睛乾癟, 又因我一切的敵人眼睛昏花。
6:8
Discedite a me omnes qui operamini iniquitatem, quoniam exaudivit Dominus vocem fletus mei.
Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.
你們一切作孽的人,離開我吧! 因為耶和華聽了我哀哭的聲音。
6:9
Exaudivit Dominus deprecationem meam ; Dominus orationem meam suscepit.
Yahweh has heard my supplication. Yahweh accepts my prayer.
耶和華聽了我的懇求; 耶和華必收納我的禱告。
6:10
Erubescant, et conturbentur vehementer, omnes inimici mei ; convertantur, et erubescant valde velociter.
May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.
我的一切仇敵都必羞愧,大大驚惶; 他們必要退後,忽然羞愧。
