When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language,
以色列出了埃及， 雅各家離開說異言之民；

facta est Judaea sanctificatio ejus ; Israël potestas ejus .
Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.
那時，猶大為主的聖所， 以色列為他所治理的國度。

Mare vidit , et fugit ; Jordanis conversus est retrorsum .
The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.
滄海看見就奔逃； 約旦河也倒流。

Montes exsultaverunt ut arietes , et colles sicut agni ovium .
The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.
大山踴躍，如公羊； 小山跳舞，如羊羔。

Quid est tibi , mare , quod fugisti ? et tu , Jordanis , quia conversus es retrorsum ?
What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back?
滄海啊，你為何奔逃？ 約旦哪，你為何倒流？

montes , exsultastis sicut arietes ? et colles , sicut agni ovium ?
You mountains, that you skipped like rams? You little hills, like lambs?

A facie Domini mota est terra , a facie Dei Jacob :
Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
大地啊，你因見主的面， 就是雅各上帝的面，便要震動。
