Psalms 15

Latin original · 5 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 14ch. 16 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Septuagint, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 15 here = Ps 14 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
⚠️ The Chinese and English alongside are the CUV and the WEB, both translated from the Masoretic Text; they follow a different textual tradition from the Greek and Latin shown here and will disagree in places.

15:1
Psalmus David. Domine, quis habitabit in tabernaculo tuo ? aut quis requiescet in monte sancto tuo ?
Yahweh, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy hill?
耶和華啊,誰能寄居你的帳幕? 誰能住在你的聖山?
15:2
Qui ingreditur sine macula, et operatur justitiam ;
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart;
就是行為正直、做事公義、 心裏說實話的人。
15:3
qui loquitur veritatem in corde suo : qui non egit dolum in lingua sua, nec fecit proximo suo malum, et opprobrium non accepit adversus proximos suos.
he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man;
他不以舌頭讒謗人, 不惡待朋友, 也不隨夥毀謗鄰里。
15:4
Ad nihilum deductus est in conspectu ejus malignus ; timentes autem Dominum glorificat. Qui jurat proximo suo, et non decipit ;
in whose eyes a vile man is despised, but who honors those who fear Yahweh; he who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn’t change;
他眼中藐視匪類, 卻尊重那敬畏耶和華的人。 他發了誓,雖然自己吃虧也不更改。
15:5
qui pecuniam suam non dedit ad usuram, et munera super innocentem non accepit : qui facit haec non movebitur in aeternum.
he who doesn’t lend out his money for usury, nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be shaken.
他不放債取利, 不受賄賂以害無辜。 行這些事的人必永不動搖。
