11:1
καὶ ἦν πᾶσα ἡ γῆ χεῖλος ἕν καὶ φωνὴ μία πᾶσιν
那時全地只有一種口音，眾人的言語都是一樣。
And all the earth was one lip, and there was one voice for all.
11:2
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ κινῆσαι αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν εὗρον πεδίον ἐν γῇ Σεννααρ καὶ κατῴκησαν ἐκεῖ
他們從東邊遷移的時候，在示拿地找到一片平原，就住在那裡。
And it came to pass, as they moved from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Sennaar, and dwelt there.
11:3
καὶ εἶπεν ἄνθρωπος τῷ πλησίον δεῦτε πλινθεύσωμεν πλίνθους καὶ ὀπτήσωμεν αὐτὰς πυρί καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῖς ἡ πλίνθος εἰς λίθον καὶ ἄσφαλτος ἦν αὐτοῖς ὁ πηλός
有人對鄰舍說：來吧，我們要作磚，把磚用火燒透。他們就以磚為石頭，又以瀝青為灰泥。
And a man said to his neighbour, Come, let us make bricks and bake them with fire. And the brick became stone to them, and bitumen was their mortar.
11:4
καὶ εἶπαν δεῦτε οἰκοδομήσωμεν ἑαυτοῖς πόλιν καὶ πύργον οὗ ἡ κεφαλὴ ἔσται ἕως τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ποιήσωμεν ἑαυτοῖς ὄνομα πρὸ τοῦ διασπαρῆναι ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τῆς γῆς
他們又說：來吧，我們要為自己建造一座城和一座塔，塔頂要通到天上；我們要為自己立名，免得我們分散在全地面上。
And they said, Come, let us build for ourselves a city and a tower whose top shall be up to heaven; and let us make for ourselves a name, before we are scattered upon the face of all the earth.
11:5
καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἰδεῖν τὴν πόλιν καὶ τὸν πύργον ὃν ᾠκοδόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων
主降臨，要看看世人所建造的城和塔。
And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
11:6
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ἰδοὺ γένος ἓν καὶ χεῖλος ἓν πάντων καὶ τοῦτο ἤρξαντο ποιῆσαι καὶ νῦν οὐκ ἐκλείψει ἐξ αὐτῶν πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἐπιθῶνται ποιεῖν
主說：看哪，眾人是一族，都有一樣的口音，他們起頭作這事；如今凡他們所圖謀要作的，沒有一樣能從他們缺乏了。
And the Lord said, Behold, there is one race and one lip of all, and they have begun to do this; and now nothing shall fail from them of all that they may undertake to do.
11:7
δεῦτε καὶ καταβάντες συγχέωμεν ἐκεῖ αὐτῶν τὴν γλῶσσαν ἵνα μὴ ἀκούσωσιν ἕκαστος τὴν φωνὴν τοῦ πλησίον
來吧，我們下去，在那裡變亂他們的語言，使他們各人聽不懂鄰舍的話。
Come, and let us go down and confound their tongue there, that they may not each hear the voice of his neighbour.
11:8
καὶ διέσπειρεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐκεῖθεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πάσης τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐπαύσαντο οἰκοδομοῦντες τὴν πόλιν καὶ τὸν πύργον
於是主使他們從那裡分散在全地面上，他們就停工，不造那城和那塔了。
And the Lord scattered them from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city and the tower.
11:9
διὰ τοῦτο ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῆς Σύγχυσις ὅτι ἐκεῖ συνέχεεν κύριος τὰ χείλη πάσης τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐκεῖθεν διέσπειρεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πάσης τῆς γῆς
因此那城名叫變亂，因為主在那裡變亂了全地的口音；主神又使他們從那裡分散在全地面上。
Therefore its name was called Confusion, because there the Lord confounded the lips of all the earth, and from there the Lord God scattered them over the face of all the earth.
11:10
καὶ αὗται αἱ γενέσεις Σημ Σημ υἱὸς ἑκατὸν ἐτῶν ὅτε ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αρφαξαδ δευτέρου ἔτους μετὰ τὸν κατακλυσμόν
閃的後代記在下面。洪水以後第二年，閃一百歲生了亞法撒。
And these are the generations of Sem. Sem was a son of a hundred years when he begot Arphaxad, in the second year after the flood.
11:11
καὶ ἔζησεν Σημ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Αρφαξαδ πεντακόσια ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
閃生亞法撒之後，又活了五百年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Sem lived after he begot Arphaxad five hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:12
καὶ ἔζησεν Αρφαξαδ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Καιναν
亞法撒活了一百三十五年，生了該南。
And Arphaxad lived a hundred and thirty-five years and begot Kainan.
11:13
καὶ ἔζησεν Αρφαξαδ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Καιναν ἔτη τετρακόσια τριάκοντα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἔζησεν Καιναν ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλα καὶ ἔζησεν Καιναν μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Σαλα ἔτη τριακόσια τριάκοντα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
亞法撒生該南之後，又活了四百三十年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。該南活了一百三十年，生了沙拉；該南生沙拉之後，又活了三百三十年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Arphaxad lived after he begot Kainan four hundred and thirty years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died. And Kainan lived a hundred and thirty years and begot Sala; and Kainan lived after he begot Sala three hundred and thirty years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:14
καὶ ἔζησεν Σαλα ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Εβερ
沙拉活了一百三十年，生了希伯。
And Sala lived a hundred and thirty years and begot Eber.
11:15
καὶ ἔζησεν Σαλα μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Εβερ τριακόσια τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
沙拉生希伯之後，又活了三百三十年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Sala lived after he begot Eber three hundred and thirty years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:16
καὶ ἔζησεν Εβερ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα τέσσαρα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Φαλεκ
希伯活了一百三十四年，生了法勒。
And Eber lived a hundred and thirty-four years and begot Phalek.
11:17
καὶ ἔζησεν Εβερ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Φαλεκ ἔτη τριακόσια ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
希伯生法勒之後，又活了三百七十年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Eber lived after he begot Phalek three hundred and seventy years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:18
καὶ ἔζησεν Φαλεκ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ραγαυ
法勒活了一百三十年，生了拉吳。
And Phalek lived a hundred and thirty years and begot Ragau.
11:19
καὶ ἔζησεν Φαλεκ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ραγαυ διακόσια ἐννέα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
法勒生拉吳之後，又活了二百零九年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Phalek lived after he begot Ragau two hundred nine years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:20
καὶ ἔζησεν Ραγαυ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα δύο ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σερουχ
拉吳活到一百三十二歲，生了西鹿。
And Ragau lived a hundred thirty-two years, and he begot Serouch.
11:21
καὶ ἔζησεν Ραγαυ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Σερουχ διακόσια ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
拉吳生西鹿之後，又活了二百零七年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Ragau lived after he begot Serouch two hundred seven years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:22
καὶ ἔζησεν Σερουχ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναχωρ
西鹿活到一百三十歲，生了拿鶴。
And Serouch lived a hundred thirty years, and he begot Nachor.
11:23
καὶ ἔζησεν Σερουχ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ναχωρ ἔτη διακόσια καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
西鹿生拿鶴之後，又活了二百年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Serouch lived after he begot Nachor two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:24
καὶ ἔζησεν Ναχωρ ἔτη ἑβδομήκοντα ἐννέα καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Θαρα
拿鶴活到七十九歲，生了他拉。
And Nachor lived seventy-nine years, and he begot Thara.
11:25
καὶ ἔζησεν Ναχωρ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Θαρα ἔτη ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι ἐννέα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν
拿鶴生他拉之後，又活了一百二十九年，並且生兒養女，然後死了。
And Nachor lived after he begot Thara a hundred twenty-nine years, and he begot sons and daughters, and he died.
11:26
καὶ ἔζησεν Θαρα ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβραμ καὶ τὸν Ναχωρ καὶ τὸν Αρραν
他拉活到七十歲，生了亞伯蘭、拿鶴和阿蘭。
And Thara lived seventy years, and he begot Abram and Nachor and Arran.
11:27
αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Θαρα Θαρα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβραμ καὶ τὸν Ναχωρ καὶ τὸν Αρραν καὶ Αρραν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Λωτ
他拉的後代記在下面：他拉生了亞伯蘭、拿鶴和阿蘭；阿蘭生了羅得。
And these are the generations of Thara: Thara begot Abram and Nachor and Arran, and Arran begot Lot.
11:28
καὶ ἀπέθανεν Αρραν ἐνώπιον Θαρα τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ γῇ ᾗ ἐγενήθη ἐν τῇ χώρᾳ τῶν Χαλδαίων
阿蘭死在他父親他拉面前，是在他出生的那地，在迦勒底人的地方。
And Arran died in the presence of Thara his father, in the land in which he was born, in the country of the Chaldeans.
11:29
καὶ ἔλαβον Αβραμ καὶ Ναχωρ ἑαυτοῖς γυναῖκας ὄνομα τῇ γυναικὶ Αβραμ Σαρα καὶ ὄνομα τῇ γυναικὶ Ναχωρ Μελχα θυγάτηρ Αρραν πατὴρ Μελχα καὶ πατὴρ Ιεσχα
亞伯蘭和拿鶴各自娶了妻子：亞伯蘭的妻子名叫撒拉，拿鶴的妻子名叫密迦，是阿蘭的女兒；阿蘭是密迦的父親，也是亦迦的父親。
And Abram and Nachor took to themselves wives; the name of Abram's wife was Sara, and the name of Nachor's wife was Melcha, daughter of Arran, the father of Melcha and the father of Iescha.
11:30
καὶ ἦν Σαρα στεῖρα καὶ οὐκ ἐτεκνοποίει
撒拉不生育，沒有生兒女。
And Sara was barren, and she bore no children.
11:31
καὶ ἔλαβεν Θαρα τὸν Αβραμ υἱὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸν Λωτ υἱὸν Αρραν υἱὸν τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν Σαραν τὴν νύμφην αὐτοῦ γυναῖκα Αβραμ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς χώρας τῶν Χαλδαίων πορευθῆναι εἰς τὴν γῆν Χανααν καὶ ἦλθεν ἕως Χαρραν καὶ κατῴκησεν ἐκεῖ
他拉帶著他的兒子亞伯蘭，和他的孫子、阿蘭的兒子羅得，並他的兒婦、他兒子亞伯蘭的妻子撒拉，把他們從迦勒底人的地方領出來，要往迦南地去；他走到哈蘭，就住在那裡。
And Thara took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Arran, the son of his son, and Sara his daughter-in-law, the wife of Abram his son, and he led them out of the country of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Chanaan; and he came as far as Charran and settled there.
11:32
καὶ ἐγένοντο αἱ ἡμέραι Θαρα ἐν Χαρραν διακόσια πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἀπέθανεν Θαρα ἐν Χαρραν
他拉在哈蘭的日子共有二百零五年；他拉就死在哈蘭。
And the days of Thara in Charran were two hundred five years, and Thara died in Charran.
