📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

They carry it on their shoulders and go; but if they set it in its place, it stays there and is never moved; and whoever cries out to it, it never answers, nor does it ever save him from evils.
declaring beforehand the last things before they come to be, and at once it was accomplished; and I said, All my counsel shall stand, and all that I have purposed I will do;
calling a bird from the east, and from a land far off concerning the things I have purposed. I have spoken and I have brought it about; I created and I made; I brought him and prospered his way.
