ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

22:1
The word of the valley of Sion. What has happened to you now, that you have all gone up onto the housetops?
The city was filled with vain things, with people shouting; your wounded are not wounded by the sword, nor are your dead the dead of war.
All your rulers have fled, and those who were caught are harshly bound, and the strong among you have fled far away.
Therefore I said: Leave me alone, I will weep bitterly; do not insist on comforting me over the ruin of the daughter of my race.
For it is a day of tumult and destruction and trampling, and there is bewilderment from the Lord Sabaoth. In the valley of Sion they wander; from small to great they wander upon the mountains.
And the Ailamites took quivers; men mounted on horses, and a gathering in battle array.
And your choicest valleys shall be filled with chariots, and the horsemen shall block up your gates.
And they shall uncover the gates of Ioudas, and in that day they shall look into the choice houses of the city.
And they shall uncover the hidden places of the houses of the citadel of Dauid; and they saw that they were many, and that they had turned the water of the ancient pool into the city,
and that they had pulled down the houses of Ierousalem for the fortification of the wall for the city.
And you made water for yourselves between the two walls, inside the ancient pool; but you did not look to the one who made it from the beginning, and you did not see the one who created it.
And in that day the Lord Sabaoth called for weeping and mourning and shaving and girding with sackcloth.
But they made themselves gladness and rejoicing, slaughtering calves and sacrificing sheep, so as to eat meat and drink wine, saying: Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.
And these things are revealed in the ears of the Lord Sabaoth: This sin shall not be forgiven you until you die.
Thus says the Lord Sabaoth: Go into the chamber, to Somnas the steward, and say to him:
What are you doing here, and what do you have here, that you have hewn out a tomb for yourself here, and made yourself a tomb on high, and carved for yourself a dwelling in the rock?
Behold now, the Lord Sabaoth will cast out and crush a man, and will take away your robe,
and your glorious crown; and he will hurl you into a great and immeasurable land, and there you shall die; and he will turn your fine chariot into dishonour, and the house of your ruler into a trampling.
And you shall be removed from your stewardship and from your standing.
And it shall be in that day: I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Chelkias,
到那日,我要召我的僕人、希勒家的兒子以利亞敬;
22:21
and I will clothe him with your robe, and I will give him your crown, and I will give the power and your stewardship into his hands; and he shall be as a father to those who dwell in Ierousalem and to those who dwell in Ioudas.
And I will give him the glory of Dauid; and he shall rule, and there shall be no one to contradict.
And I will set him as a ruler in a trustworthy place, and he shall become a throne of glory to his father's house.
And everyone of honour in his father's house shall trust in him, from small to great, and they shall be hanging upon him.
In that day, thus says the Lord Sabaoth: The man who is fixed firm in a trustworthy place shall be moved, and he shall fall, and the glory that is upon him shall be taken away, for the Lord has spoken.
