ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

οὐαὶγῆςπλοίωνπτέρυγεςἐπέκειναποταμῶνΑἰθιοπίας
Woe to the wings of the land of ships beyond the rivers of Ethiopia,
which sends hostages by sea and papyrus letters upon the water! For swift messengers shall go to a lofty nation, and to a strange and harsh people. Who is beyond it? A nation without hope and trodden down. Now the rivers of the land!
All of you, as an inhabited land: their land shall be inhabited. When a signal is raised from a mountain, it shall be heard like the sound of a trumpet.
For thus the Lord said to me: There shall be safety in my city, like the light of the noonday heat; and it shall be like a cloud of dew in the day of harvest.
Before the harvest, when the blossom is finished and the unripe grape blossoms, a blossom turning sour, he shall take away the little clusters with pruning hooks, and shall take away the tendrils and cut them down.
And he shall leave them together to the birds of heaven and to the beasts of the earth; and the birds of heaven shall gather upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall come upon it.
At that time gifts shall be brought to the Lord Sabaoth from a people afflicted and plucked, and from a great people, from now and for all time; a nation that hopes and is trodden down, which is in a region of the river of its land, to the place where the name of the Lord Sabaoth is called upon, Mount Sion.
