ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

ὅρασιςἣνεἶδενΗσαιαςυἱὸςΑμωςκατὰΒαβυλῶνος
The vision which Esaias son of Amos saw against Babylon.
I give the orders, and I lead them; they are sanctified. And I lead them; giants are coming to fulfill my wrath, rejoicing and at the same time acting insolently.
A sound of many nations on the mountains, like the sound of many nations; a sound of kings and of nations gathered together. The Lord of hosts has given orders to a nation of armed warriors
And the ambassadors shall be troubled, and pangs shall seize them as of a woman in labor; and they shall lament one to another, and shall be amazed, and shall change their faces like a flame.
For behold, the day of the Lord comes, incurable, with wrath and anger, to make the whole inhabited world desolate and to destroy the sinners out of it.
For the stars of heaven and Orion and all the array of heaven shall not give their light; and it shall be darkened when the sun rises, and the moon shall not give her light.
And I will command evils upon the whole inhabited world, and upon the ungodly their sins; and I will destroy the arrogance of the lawless, and I will bring low the arrogance of the proud.
For heaven shall be enraged and the earth shall be shaken from its foundations, because of the fury of the wrath of the Lord Sabaoth, in the day in which his fury comes.
And those who are left shall be like a fleeing gazelle and like a straying sheep, and there shall be none to gather them, so that a man turns back to his own people and a man hastens to his own land.
It shall not be inhabited for all time, nor shall any enter it through many generations; neither shall Arabs pass through it, nor shall shepherds rest in it.
