📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Blessed is the man who does these things, and the person who holds fast to them, keeping the sabbaths so as not to profane them, and keeping his hands from doing any wrong.
Let not the foreigner who attaches himself to the Lord say: Surely the Lord will separate me from his people. And let not the eunuch say: I am a dry tree.
I will give them in my house and within my wall a place of renown, better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, and it shall not fail.
And to the foreigners who attach themselves to the Lord, to serve him and to love the name of the Lord, to be his male and female servants, and all who keep my sabbaths so as not to profane them and hold fast to my covenant,
I will bring them into my holy mountain and make them glad in my house of prayer. Their whole burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.
See that they have all been blinded; they did not know how to think. They are all mute dogs; they will not be able to bark, dreaming of a bed, loving to slumber.
And the dogs are shameless in soul, not knowing satisfaction; and they are evil, not knowing understanding. They all followed their own ways, each one after his own interest.
