ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

683:1
Gregorius Pantaleoni notario.
Gregory to Pantaleon the notary. Setting out, with the Lord's help, and supported by the present authority, to the city of Genoa, do you know that Deusdedit, deacon of the Church of Milan—if indeed he has been elected by all, and there is nothing that, from his former life, can stand against him according to the sacred canons—is solemnly to be ordained bishop. Moreover, since there are many advantages there for our Church, which by God's favour are to be carried out, it is needful that you be diligent, and so inquire into and usefully arrange all things according to the chapter-schedule annexed below, that no fault of negligence may in any respect concern you, but rather that your vigilance may commend you to God and to men.
