ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

Gregory to Leontius, bishop of Rimini. The basilica of blessed Stephen the martyr, which your Fraternity records to have been consumed by fire, and also to have been lately restored—we grant the faculty of dedicating it, in which we also wish the sanctuaries of the relics of the same blessed Stephen the martyr to be placed. And therefore, most dear brother, it is necessary that you go to the aforesaid Church, and solemnly perform the dedication both of the Church and also of the newly constructed altar, so that the devotion of those awaiting the consecration of the same may, with the Lord's help, be fulfilled. Whatever, moreover, was of old granted to that same place by its founders, we wish to remain in that will and firmness in which it was bequeathed.
