出埃及記 第 3 章

And Moyses was shepherding the sheep of Iothor his father-in-law, the priest of Madiam; and he led the sheep beyond the wilderness and came to the mountain Choreb.

And an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the bush; and he sees that the bush is burning with fire, yet the bush was not being consumed.

And Moyses said, “I will go over and see this great sight—why is it that the bush is not consumed?”

And when the Lord saw that he was coming near to look, the Lord called him out of the bush, saying, “Moyses, Moyses.” And he said, “What is it?”

And he said, “Do not come near here. Loose the sandal from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

And he said to him, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraam and the God of Isaak and the God of Jacob.” And Moyses turned his face away, for he was in awe and would not gaze before God.

And the Lord said to Moyses, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of the taskmasters, for I know their pain.”

“And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them out of that land, and to bring them into a good and spacious land, into a land flowing with milk and honey, into the place of the Chananites and Chettites and Amorrites and Pherezites and Gergesites and Heuites and Iebousites.”

“And now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.”

“And now come, let me send you to Pharao king of Egypt, and you shall bring out my people, the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt.”

And Moyses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharao king of Egypt, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt?”

And God spoke to Moyses, saying, “I will be with you; and this shall be the sign for you that I am sending you: when you bring my people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

And Moyses said to God, “Behold, I will go to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ They will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What shall I say to them?”

And God said to Moyses, “I am The One Who Is.” And he said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel: The One Who Is has sent me to you.”

And God said again to Moyses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel: The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraam and the God of Isaak and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my everlasting name and a memorial for generations to generations.”

“Go then and gather the council of elders of the sons of Israel, and say to them: The Lord, the God of your fathers, has appeared to me—the God of Abraam and the God of Isaak and the God of Jacob—saying, ‘With careful oversight I have watched over you and all that has happened to you in Egypt.’”

“And I said: I will bring you up out of the affliction of the Egyptians into the land of the Chananites and Chettites and Amorrites and Pherezites and Gergesites and Heuites and Iebousites, into a land flowing with milk and honey.”

“And they will listen to your voice; and you and the council of elders of Israel shall go in to Pharao king of Egypt and say to him: The God of the Hebrews has summoned us; let us therefore go a three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to our God.”

“But I know that Pharao king of Egypt will not let you go, unless it be with a mighty hand.”

“And stretching out my hand I will strike the Egyptians with all my wonders which I will do among them; and after that he will send you away.”

“And I will give this people favour before the Egyptians; and when you hurry away, you shall not go off empty-handed.”

“Each woman shall ask of her neighbour and of the one who shares her tent silver vessels and gold ones and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters, and so you shall plunder the Egyptians.”
