20:1
And the Lord spoke all these words, saying:
20:2
"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
20:3
You shall have no other gods besides me.
20:4
You shall not make for yourself an idol, nor a likeness of anything—whatever is in heaven above, or whatever is on the earth below, or whatever is in the waters under the earth.
20:5
不可跪拜它們,也不可事奉它們;因為我是主你的神,是忌邪的神。恨我的人,我必追討他們父親的罪,直到第三、第四代;
You shall not bow down to them, nor shall you serve them; for I am the Lord your God, a jealous God, repaying the sins of fathers upon children to the third and fourth generation, to those who hate me,
20:6
and showing mercy to thousands, to those who love me and who keep my ordinances.
20:7
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will by no means cleanse the one who takes his name in vain.
20:8

20:9
六日你要勞碌,作你一切的工;
Six days you shall labor and do all your works,
20:10
but the seventh day is sabbaths to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work—you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, your ox and your donkey and every beast of yours, and the sojourner who resides among you.
20:11
For in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, and he rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.
20:12

And Moses says to them, "Take courage, for God has come to you in order to test you, so that the fear of him may be in you, that you may not sin."
20:21

And the people stood at a distance, but Moses entered into the thick darkness where God was.
20:22

You shall not make for yourselves gods of silver and gods of gold; you shall not make them for yourselves.
20:24
