ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

30:1
But now the least of men have laughed me to scorn; now they admonish me in turn, men whose fathers I set at nought, whom I did not count worthy of the dogs of my flocks.
And indeed the strength of their hands, what was that to me? For them full vigour had perished.
In want and famine they were barren, fleeing to a waterless place, yesterday in distress and misery.
They plucked saltwort by the resounding shore; saltwort was their food, dishonoured and despised, lacking every good thing; and because of great famine they chewed the roots of trees.
30:5
Thieves rose up against me.
Whose houses were holes in the rocks.
Among sweet-sounding places they will cry out, they who lived under wild brushwood.
Sons of fools and of the dishonoured, whose name and renown were quenched from the earth.
But now I am their harp-song, and they have me as a byword.
They abhorred me and stood far off, and did not spare spittle at my face.
For he opened his quiver and afflicted me, and they cast off the bridle from my face.
On the right of the sprout they rose up; they stretched out their foot, and made ways against me, their paths of destruction.
My paths were worn away, for he stripped off my robe.
With his arrows he shot me through; he has used me as he pleases; I am befouled with pains.
My pains turn back upon me; my hope is gone like the wind, and my salvation like a cloud.
And now my soul shall be poured out upon me, and days of pains hold me fast.
By night my bones are burned up, and my sinews are dissolved.
With great force he took hold of my robe; like the collar of my tunic it encompassed me.
You have counted me as clay in the earth, and my portion is ashes.
I have cried to you, and you do not hear me; they stood and gazed at me.
You came upon me without mercy; with a mighty hand you scourged me.
You set me among pains, and cast me away from salvation.
For I know that death will wear me away, for the earth is a house for every mortal.
Would that I were able to lay hands on myself, or at least beg another, and he would do this for me.
But I wept over every powerless man, and groaned when I saw a man in distress.
But I, waiting for good things, behold, days of evils met me instead.
My belly boiled over and will not be silent; days of poverty came upon me first.

My harp has turned to my grief, and my song to weeping for me.
