📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

In vain and to no purpose he toiled for wealth from which he will not taste, like a tough sinew that cannot be chewed or swallowed.
他勞碌所得的財富歸於虛空徒然,他也嘗不到,就像嚼不動、嚥不下的硬筋。
20:19
πολλῶν γὰρ ἀδυνάτων οἴκους ἔθλασεν δίαιταν δὲ ἥρπασεν καὶ οὐκ ἔστησεν
For he crushed the houses of many powerless people, and seized a dwelling he did not establish.
