ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ιωβ λέγει
Then Job answered and said:
約伯回答說:
12:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶτα ὑμεῖς ἐστε ἄνθρωποι ἦ μεθ’ ὑμῶν τελευτήσει σοφία
So then you are men! Will wisdom come to an end with you?
這麼說,你們就是人了!智慧要與你們一同終結嗎?
12:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
κἀμοὶ μὲν καρδία καθ’ ὑμᾶς ἐστιν
I too have a heart, just as you do.
我也有心,像你們一樣。
12:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
δίκαιος γὰρ ἀνὴρ καὶ ἄμεμπτος ἐγενήθη εἰς χλεύασμα
For a righteous and blameless man has become a mockery.
因為義人和無可指責的人竟成了笑柄。
12:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἰς χρόνον γὰρ τακτὸν ἡτοίμαστο πεσεῖν ὑπὸ ἄλλους οἴκους τε αὐτοῦ ἐκπορθεῖσθαι ὑπὸ ἀνόμων
For at an appointed time he was destined to fall under others, and his houses to be plundered by lawless men.
因為在所定的時候,他註定要倒在別人手下,他的家宅要被不法之人劫掠。
12:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὐ μὴν δὲ ἀλλὰ μηδεὶς πεποιθέτω πονηρὸς ὢν ἀθῷος ἔσεσθαι ὅσοι παροργίζουσιν τὸν κύριον ὡς οὐχὶ καὶ ἔτασις αὐτῶν ἔσται
Nevertheless, let no wicked man be confident that he will go unpunished—all those who provoke the Lord, as though there would be no examination of them.
然而,作惡的人斷不可自信必得無罪;凡惹主發怒的人,豈以為不會受審問嗎?
12:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀλλὰ δὴ ἐπερώτησον τετράποδα ἐάν σοι εἴπωσιν πετεινὰ δὲ οὐρανοῦ ἐάν σοι ἀπαγγείλωσιν
But ask the four-footed beasts, whether they will tell you; and the birds of heaven, whether they will declare to you.
你且問四足的走獸,看牠們是否告訴你;問空中的飛鳥,看牠們是否向你述說。

ἐκδιήγησαι δὲ γῇ ἐάν σοι φράσῃ καὶ ἐξηγήσονταί σοι οἱ ἰχθύες τῆς θαλάσσης
Recount it to the earth, whether it will explain to you; and the fish of the sea will tell you.
你向大地細說,看它是否向你解明;海中的魚也必向你講述。
12:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τίς οὐκ ἔγνω ἐν πᾶσι τούτοις ὅτι χεὶρ κυρίου ἐποίησεν ταῦτα
Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has made these things?
在這一切之中,誰不知道這是主的手所做的呢?
12:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἰ μὴ ἐν χειρὶ αὐτοῦ ψυχὴ πάντων τῶν ζώντων καὶ πνεῦμα παντὸς ἀνθρώπου
Is not the soul of every living thing in his hand, and the spirit of every man?
一切活物的性命和世人的氣息,豈不都在他手中嗎?
12:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὖς μὲν γὰρ ῥήματα διακρίνει λάρυγξ δὲ σῖτα γεύεται
For the ear distinguishes words, and the throat tastes food.
耳朵辨別言語,喉嚨品嘗食物。
12:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐν πολλῷ χρόνῳ σοφία ἐν δὲ πολλῷ βίῳ ἐπιστήμη
Wisdom is in length of time, and knowledge in length of life.
智慧在於多年,知識在於長壽。
12:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
παρ’ αὐτῷ σοφία καὶ δύναμις αὐτῷ βουλὴ καὶ σύνεσις
With him are wisdom and power; his are counsel and understanding.
智慧和能力在於他,謀略和聰明也屬於他。
12:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐὰν καταβάλῃ τίς οἰκοδομήσει ἐὰν κλείσῃ κατὰ ἀνθρώπων τίς ἀνοίξει
If he throws down, who will build? If he shuts against men, who will open?
他若拆毀,誰能建造?他若向人關閉,誰能開啟?
12:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐὰν κωλύσῃ τὸ ὥδωρ ξηρανεῖ τὴν γῆν ἐὰν δὲ ἐπαφῇ ἀπώλεσεν αὐτὴν καταστρέψας
If he holds back the water, he dries up the earth; and if he lets it loose, he overturns and destroys it.
他若攔阻水,就使地乾旱;他若放水,就傾覆毀滅大地。
12:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
παρ’ αὐτῷ κράτος καὶ ἰσχύς αὐτῷ ἐπιστήμη καὶ σύνεσις
With him are might and strength; his are knowledge and understanding.
權能和力量在於他,知識和聰明也屬於他。
12:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
διάγων βουλευτὰς αἰχμαλώτους κριτὰς δὲ γῆς ἐξέστησεν
He leads counsellors away captive, and he confounds the judges of the earth.
他把謀士擄去,又使地上的審判官驚惶失措。
12:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καθιζάνων βασιλεῖς ἐπὶ θρόνους καὶ περιέδησεν ζώνῃ ὀσφύας αὐτῶν
He seats kings upon thrones, and he binds their loins with a belt.
他使君王坐在寶座上,又用帶子束住他們的腰。
12:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐξαποστέλλων ἱερεῖς αἰχμαλώτους δυνάστας δὲ γῆς κατέστρεψεν
He sends priests away captive, and he overthrows the mighty of the earth.
他使祭司被擄而去,又傾覆地上的掌權者。
12:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
διαλλάσσων χείλη πιστῶν σύνεσιν δὲ πρεσβυτέρων ἔγνω
He changes the lips of the trustworthy, and he has discerned the understanding of elders.
他改變可信之人的嘴唇,也洞悉長老的聰明。
12:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐκχέων ἀτιμίαν ἐπ’ ἄρχοντας ταπεινοὺς δὲ ἰάσατο
He pours dishonour upon rulers, and he has healed the lowly.
他把羞辱傾倒在首領身上,卻醫治卑微的人。
12:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀνακαλύπτων βαθέα ἐκ σκότους ἐξήγαγεν δὲ εἰς φῶς σκιὰν θανάτου
He uncovers deep things out of darkness, and he has brought the shadow of death into the light.
他從黑暗中揭露深奧的事,又把死蔭帶到光中。
12:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
πλανῶν ἔθνη καὶ ἀπολλύων αὐτά καταστρωννύων ἔθνη καὶ καθοδηγῶν αὐτά
He leads nations astray and destroys them; he lays nations low and guides them.
他使列國迷失,並毀滅他們;他使列國傾倒,又引導他們。
12:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
διαλλάσσων καρδίας ἀρχόντων γῆς ἐπλάνησεν δὲ αὐτοὺς ὁδῷ ᾗ οὐκ ᾔδεισαν
He changes the hearts of the rulers of the earth, and he made them wander in a way they did not know.
他改變地上首領的心,使他們在不認識的路上迷失。
12:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ψηλαφήσαισαν σκότος καὶ μὴ φῶς πλανηθείησαν δὲ ὥσπερ ὁ μεθύων
May they grope in darkness and not in light, and may they stagger about like a drunken man.
願他們在黑暗中摸索,而不在光中;願他們像醉酒的人一樣東倒西歪。
