ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

They turned the powerless aside from the way of justice; the meek of the earth all hid themselves together.
They went off like donkeys in the field, going out on my behalf to their own work; bread was made sweet for him, for the young men.
They reaped before its time a field that was not theirs, while the powerless worked the vineyards of the ungodly without wages and without food.
They made many lie down naked without clothes, and took away the covering of their life.

They are drenched by the mountain showers, and having no shelter, they wrap themselves in a rock.

They snatched the orphan from the breast and humbled the one who had fallen.
Unjustly they made them lie down naked, and took away the bread of the hungry.
In narrow places they lay in ambush unjustly, and they did not know the way of justice.
Some were cast out of the city and out of their own houses, and the soul of infants groaned aloud; yet why has he made no visitation of these things?
While they were on the earth, they did not recognize it; they did not know the way of righteousness, nor did they walk its paths.
Knowing their works, he handed them over to darkness; and by night he will be like a thief.
The eye of the adulterer watched for darkness, saying, 'No eye will notice me,' and he put a covering over his face.
He dug through houses in the dark; by day they sealed themselves in; they did not know the light.

For the morning is alike to them all the shadow of death, for he knows the terrors of the shadow of death.
He is light upon the face of the water; may their portion on the earth be cursed.
May their plants appear dried up on the earth, for they snatched away the orphans' armful of sheaves.
Then his sin was remembered; but he became invisible like a mist of dew. May what he did be repaid to him, and may every unjust man be broken like an incurable tree.

When he falls ill, let him not hope to be healed, but he will fall by disease.
For his high estate harmed many; yet he withered like a mallow in the heat, or like an ear of grain that drops of itself from the stalk.
If it is not so, who is there to say that I speak falsely and to reduce my words to nothing?
