ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Who might set me as in a month gone by, before the days in which God kept me?
As when his lamp shone above my head, when by his light I walked in darkness.

When I was weighty in my ways, when God made visitation of my house.

29:5
When I was very luxuriant, and my children were round about me.
When my ways flowed with butter, and my mountains flowed with milk.
When I went out early in the city, and my seat was set in the broad places.
The young men saw me and hid themselves, and all the elders stood up.

The great men ceased speaking, laying a finger upon the mouth.

Those who heard called me blessed, and their tongue clung to their throat.
For the ear heard and called me blessed, and the eye that saw me turned aside.
For I delivered the poor out of the hand of the mighty, and helped the orphan who had no helper.
May the blessing of him who was perishing come upon me; and the widow's mouth blessed me.
I had clothed myself with righteousness, and put on judgement like a double mantle.
I was an eye to the blind and a foot to the lame.

29:16

I broke the molars of the unjust, and plucked the spoil out from between their teeth.

29:18

My glory is fresh with me, and my bow shall go forth in his hand.
