18:1
ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Βαλδαδ ὁ Σαυχίτης λέγει
Then Baldad the Sauchite answered and said:
掃希人巴勒達回答說:
18:2
μέχρι τίνος οὐ παύσῃ ἐπίσχες ἵνα καὶ αὐτοὶ λαλήσωμεν
How long will you not cease? Hold back, that we too may speak.
你到幾時才住口呢?停一停,好讓我們也說話。
18:3
διὰ τί ὥσπερ τετράποδα σεσιωπήκαμεν ἐναντίον σου
Why have we kept silent before you like four-footed beasts?
我們為何像四足的牲畜一樣,在你面前緘默無言呢?
18:4
κέχρηταί σοι ὀργή τί γάρ ἐὰν σὺ ἀποθάνῃς ἀοίκητος ἡ ὑπ’ οὐρανόν ἢ καταστραφήσεται ὄρη ἐκ θεμελίων
Anger has taken hold of you. What then—if you die, will the world under heaven be uninhabited, or will mountains be overturned from their foundations?
怒氣抓住了你。你若死了,天下就要無人居住嗎?群山就要從根基被傾覆嗎?
18:5
καὶ φῶς ἀσεβῶν σβεσθήσεται καὶ οὐκ ἀποβήσεται αὐτῶν ἡ φλόξ
The light of the ungodly will be quenched, and their flame will not go forth.
不敬虔之人的光必熄滅,他們的火焰也必不發出。
18:6
τὸ φῶς αὐτοῦ σκότος ἐν διαίτῃ ὁ δὲ λύχνος ἐπ’ αὐτῷ σβεσθήσεται
His light in his dwelling is darkness, and the lamp over him will be put out.
他住處的光必變為黑暗,他頭上的燈也必熄滅。
18:7
θηρεύσαισαν ἐλάχιστοι τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ σφάλαι δὲ αὐτοῦ ἡ βουλή
May the least of men hunt down his possessions, and may his own counsel trip him up.
願最卑微的人獵取他的財物,願他自己的計謀使他跌倒。
18:8
ἐμβέβληται δὲ ὁ ποὺς αὐτοῦ ἐν παγίδι ἐν δικτύῳ ἑλιχθείη
His foot has been cast into a snare; may he be entangled in a net.
他的腳已陷在網羅中,願他被纏在網裡。
18:9
ἔλθοισαν δὲ ἐπ’ αὐτὸν παγίδες κατισχύσει ἐπ’ αὐτὸν διψῶντας
May snares come upon him; he will make those who thirst prevail against him.
願網羅臨到他身上;他必使乾渴的人勝過他。
18:10
κέκρυπται ἐν τῇ γῇ σχοινίον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ σύλλημψις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τρίβων
His rope is hidden in the ground, and the trap for him is on the paths.
捆綁他的繩索藏在地裡,捕捉他的機關設在路上。
18:11
κύκλῳ ὀλέσαισαν αὐτὸν ὀδύναι πολλοὶ δὲ περὶ πόδας αὐτοῦ ἔλθοισαν ἐν λιμῷ στενῷ
May pains destroy him round about, and may many come about his feet in a straitened famine.
願疼痛四圍毀滅他;願許多人在窘迫的饑荒中臨到他腳邊。
18:12
πτῶμα δὲ αὐτῷ ἡτοίμασται ἐξαίσιον
An extraordinary downfall has been prepared for him.
有非常的傾覆已為他預備了。
18:13
βρωθείησαν αὐτοῦ κλῶνες ποδῶν κατέδεται δὲ τὰ ὡραῖα αὐτοῦ θάνατος
May the twigs of his feet be eaten up, and death will devour his comely parts.
願他腳上的枝節被吃掉;死亡必吞吃他俊美的部分。
18:14
ἐκραγείη δὲ ἐκ διαίτης αὐτοῦ ἴασις σχοίη δὲ αὐτὸν ἀνάγκη αἰτίᾳ βασιλικῇ
May healing be torn out of his dwelling, and may distress seize him on a royal charge.
願醫治從他的居所被扯裂出去;願困厄以王家的罪名抓住他。
18:15
κατασκηνώσει ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ αὐτοῦ ἐν νυκτὶ αὐτοῦ κατασπαρήσονται τὰ εὐπρεπῆ αὐτοῦ θείῳ
It will encamp in his tent in his night; his goodly things will be strewn over with brimstone.
在他的夜裡,這必住在他的帳棚中;他華美之物必被硫磺撒遍。
18:16
ὑποκάτωθεν αἱ ῥίζαι αὐτοῦ ξηρανθήσονται καὶ ἐπάνωθεν ἐπιπεσεῖται θερισμὸς αὐτοῦ
From below his roots will be dried up, and from above his harvest will fall.
他的根在下面必枯乾,他的收成在上面必落下。
18:17
τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτοῦ ἀπόλοιτο ἐκ γῆς καὶ ὑπάρχει ὄνομα αὐτῷ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐξωτέρω
May his memorial perish from the earth, and he has a name only upon the face of the outer parts.
願他的記念從地上滅沒;他的名只存在外頭的面上。
18:18
ἀπώσειεν αὐτὸν ἐκ φωτὸς εἰς σκότος
May he thrust him out of light into darkness.
願他把他從光明推入黑暗。
18:19
οὐκ ἔσται ἐπίγνωστος ἐν λαῷ αὐτοῦ οὐδὲ σεσῳσμένος ἐν τῇ ὑπ’ οὐρανὸν ὁ οἶκος αὐτοῦ ἀλλ’ ἐν τοῖς αὐτοῦ ζήσονται ἕτεροι
He will not be recognized among his own people, nor will his house be preserved under heaven; but others will live among what is his.
他在自己的民中必不為人所識,他的家在天下也不得存留;倒是別人要住在屬他的產業裡。
18:20
ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐστέναξαν ἔσχατοι πρώτους δὲ ἔσχεν θαῦμα
The last groaned over him, and astonishment seized the first.
後來的人為他嘆息,先前的人被驚奇抓住。
18:21
οὗτοί εἰσιν οἶκοι ἀδίκων οὗτος δὲ ὁ τόπος τῶν μὴ εἰδότων τὸν κύριον
These are the houses of the unjust, and this is the place of those who do not know the Lord.
這些就是不義之人的家;這就是不認識主之人的地方。
