ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).
And this indeed we could have demonstrated, O men—I said—namely, that the eighth day held a certain mystery proclaimed through these things by God, rather than the seventh. But that I may not now seem to turn aside to other arguments, understand—I cry out—that the blood of that circumcision has been abolished, and we have put our trust in the blood of salvation; there is now another covenant, and another law has gone forth from Zion.
Jesus Christ circumcises all who are willing, with knives of stone, as was proclaimed from of old, so that there might come into being a righteous nation, a people that keeps faith, that holds fast to truth and keeps peace.
'Come with me, all you who fear God, who wish to see the good things of Jerusalem. Come, let us walk in the light of the Lord, for He has set free His people, the house of Jacob. Come, all you nations, let us be gathered to Jerusalem, which is no longer warred against because of the iniquities of the peoples. For I became manifest to those who did not seek Me; I was found by those who did not inquire after Me'—He cries out through Isaiah.
'I said: Here am I, to nations that did not call upon My name. I stretched out My hands all the day long to a disobedient and gainsaying people, to those who walk in a way that is not good, but after their own sins. They are a people that provokes Me to My face.'
