ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

But that I may render to you the discourse concerning the revelation of Jesus Christ the Holy One, I take up the discourse and say that that revelation also came to pass for us who believe in this Christ, the high priest who was crucified; we who, being in fornications and in every foul deed whatsoever, have, through the grace of our Jesus according to the will of His Father, put off all the foul things, the evils with which we were clothed—which the devil ever stands by, opposing and wishing to draw all to himself—while the angel of God, that is, the power of God sent to us through Jesus Christ, rebukes him and he departs from us.
And just as we are plucked out as from fire, cleansed from our former sins, and from the affliction and the burning with which the devil and all his servants burn us—out of which Jesus the Son of God again snatches us away. He has promised to clothe us with the garments prepared, if we do His commandments, and has announced that He will provide an eternal kingdom.
For in the manner that that Jesus, called a priest by the prophet, was shown wearing foul garments because he was said to have taken a harlot to wife, and was called a brand plucked out of fire because he had received forgiveness of sins—the devil who opposed him being rebuked—so we too, who through the name of Jesus have believed as one man in God the maker of all things, having, through the name of His firstborn Son, put off the foul garments, that is, our sins, being burned by the word of His calling, are the true high-priestly race of God, as God Himself testifies, saying that in every place among the nations men offer to Him sacrifices well-pleasing and pure. But God receives sacrifices from no one, except through His priests.
