ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

A righteous man hates an unjust word, but the impious is put to shame and will have no boldness.
Righteousness guards the innocent, but sin makes the impious base.
There are those who make themselves rich while having nothing, and there are those who humble themselves amid much wealth.

Substance hastily gained with lawlessness becomes less, but he who gathers for himself with godliness will be increased; a righteous man shows compassion and lends.

13:12

He who despises a matter will be despised by it, but he who fears a commandment, he is sound. Nothing good will come to a deceitful son, but a wise household servant will have prosperous dealings, and his way will be made straight.
