παροιμίαι Σαλωμῶντος υἱοῦ Δαυιδ ὃς ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ισραηλ
The proverbs of Solomon son of David, who reigned in Israel.
大衛的兒子所羅門的箴言,他曾在以色列作王。
1:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
γνῶναι σοφίαν καὶ παιδείαν νοῆσαί τε λόγους φρονήσεως
To know wisdom and instruction, and to understand words of prudence,
為要認識智慧與訓誨,明白明辨的言語,
1:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
δέξασθαί τε στροφὰς λόγων νοῆσαί τε δικαιοσύνην ἀληθῆ καὶ κρίμα κατευθύνειν
And to receive the turnings of words, to understand true righteousness, and to direct judgment aright,
也要領受言語的曲折,明白真實的公義,並使判斷正直,

ἵνα δῷ ἀκάκοις πανουργίαν παιδὶ δὲ νέῳ αἴσθησίν τε καὶ ἔννοιαν
That it may give shrewdness to the innocent, and to the young child perception and reflection.
好使天真的人得著機敏,使年幼的孩子得著知覺與思慮。
1:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τῶνδε γὰρ ἀκούσας σοφὸς σοφώτερος ἔσται ὁ δὲ νοήμων κυβέρνησιν κτήσεται
For the wise, when he hears these things, will be wiser, and the intelligent will acquire guidance.
智慧人聽見這些,就必更有智慧;明達的人必得著掌舵之能。

νοήσει τε παραβολὴν καὶ σκοτεινὸν λόγον ῥήσεις τε σοφῶν καὶ αἰνίγματα
He will also understand a parable and a dark saying, the sayings of the wise and riddles.
他也必明白比喻和幽暗的話,明白智慧人的言語和謎語。

ἀρχὴ σοφίας φόβος θεοῦ σύνεσις δὲ ἀγαθὴ πᾶσι τοῖς ποιοῦσιν αὐτήν εὐσέβεια δὲ εἰς θεὸν ἀρχὴ αἰσθήσεως σοφίαν δὲ καὶ παιδείαν ἀσεβεῖς ἐξουθενήσουσιν
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God, and good understanding belongs to all who practice it; piety toward God is the beginning of perception, but the ungodly will despise wisdom and instruction.
智慧的開端是敬畏神;凡遵行的人都有美好的悟性;敬虔歸向神是知覺的開端;不敬虔的人卻藐視智慧與訓誨。

ἄκουε υἱέ παιδείαν πατρός σου καὶ μὴ ἀπώσῃ θεσμοὺς μητρός σου
Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and do not reject your mother's ordinances;
我兒,要聽你父親的訓誨,不可棄絕你母親的規條;

στέφανον γὰρ χαρίτων δέξῃ σῇ κορυφῇ καὶ κλοιὸν χρύσεον περὶ σῷ τραχήλῳ
For you will receive a crown of graces for your head, and a golden collar about your neck.
因為你必為你的頭得著恩惠的華冠,為你的頸項得著金的項圈。

υἱέ μή σε πλανήσωσιν ἄνδρες ἀσεβεῖς μηδὲ βουληθῇς ἐὰν παρακαλέσωσί σε λέγοντες
My son, do not let ungodly men lead you astray, and do not consent if they urge you, saying:
我兒,不要讓不敬虔的人把你引入歧途;他們若勸誘你,說:

ἐλθὲ μεθ’ ἡμῶν κοινώνησον αἵματος κρύψωμεν δὲ εἰς γῆν ἄνδρα δίκαιον ἀδίκως
"Come with us, share in blood, and let us unjustly hide a righteous man in the earth;
「你與我們同來,一同分嘗流血的事;我們要不義地把義人埋藏在地裡;
1:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καταπίωμεν δὲ αὐτὸν ὥσπερ ᾅδης ζῶντα καὶ ἄρωμεν αὐτοῦ τὴν μνήμην ἐκ γῆς
Let us swallow him alive like Hades, and take away his memory from the earth;
我們要像陰間一樣把他活活吞下,把對他的記念從地上除掉;
1:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τὴν κτῆσιν αὐτοῦ τὴν πολυτελῆ καταλαβώμεθα πλήσωμεν δὲ οἴκους ἡμετέρους σκύλων
Let us seize his costly possessions and fill our houses with spoil.
我們要奪取他貴重的產業,把擄物裝滿我們的房屋。
1:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τὸν δὲ σὸν κλῆρον βάλε ἐν ἡμῖν κοινὸν δὲ βαλλάντιον κτησώμεθα πάντες καὶ μαρσίππιον ἓν γενηθήτω ἡμῖν
Cast in your lot among us; let us all have one common purse, and let there be a single bag for us."
你來與我們同擲你的籤,我們眾人共有一個錢囊,大家只有一個口袋。」
1:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
μὴ πορευθῇς ἐν ὁδῷ μετ’ αὐτῶν ἔκκλινον δὲ τὸν πόδα σου ἐκ τῶν τρίβων αὐτῶν
Do not walk in the way with them; turn your foot away from their paths;
不要與他們同走一條路,要使你的腳偏離他們的路徑;
1:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οἱ γὰρ πόδες αὐτῶν εἰς κακίαν τρέχουσιν καὶ ταχινοὶ τοῦ ἐκχέαι αἷμα
For their feet run to evil, and they are swift to shed blood.
因為他們的腳奔向邪惡,他們急速地流人的血。
1:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὐ γὰρ ἀδίκως ἐκτείνεται δίκτυα πτερωτοῖς
For nets are not spread unjustly for winged creatures.
因為向有翅膀的張開網羅,並不是不義的。
1:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
αὐτοὶ γὰρ οἱ φόνου μετέχοντες θησαυρίζουσιν ἑαυτοῖς κακά ἡ δὲ καταστροφὴ ἀνδρῶν παρανόμων κακή
For those who take part in murder store up evils for themselves, and the overthrow of lawless men is evil.
因為那些參與凶殺的人,是為自己積蓄禍患;不法之人的傾覆是悲慘的。
1:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
αὗται αἱ ὁδοί εἰσιν πάντων τῶν συντελούντων τὰ ἄνομα τῇ γὰρ ἀσεβείᾳ τὴν ἑαυτῶν ψυχὴν ἀφαιροῦνται
Such are the ways of all who commit lawless deeds; for by their ungodliness they take away their own life.
這就是一切行不法之事的人的道路;他們因自己的不敬虔而奪去自己的性命。
1:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
σοφία ἐν ἐξόδοις ὑμνεῖται ἐν δὲ πλατείαις παρρησίαν ἄγει
Wisdom is hymned in the outgoings, and in the broad streets she speaks with boldness;
智慧在出口之處被歌頌,在寬闊的街上坦然發聲;
1:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐπ’ ἄκρων δὲ τειχέων κηρύσσεται ἐπὶ δὲ πύλαις δυναστῶν παρεδρεύει ἐπὶ δὲ πύλαις πόλεως θαρροῦσα λέγει
On the tops of the walls she is proclaimed; at the gates of the mighty she takes her place; at the gates of the city she takes courage and says:
她在城牆的頂上被宣揚,在掌權者的門口侍立,在城門口壯膽說:
1:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὅσον ἂν χρόνον ἄκακοι ἔχωνται τῆς δικαιοσύνης οὐκ αἰσχυνθήσονται οἱ δὲ ἄφρονες τῆς ὕβρεως ὄντες ἐπιθυμηταί ἀσεβεῖς γενόμενοι ἐμίσησαν αἴσθησιν
"As long as the innocent hold fast to righteousness, they will not be put to shame; but fools, being lovers of insolence, having become ungodly, have hated perception,
「天真的人持守公義多久,就多久不致蒙羞;愚昧人卻貪愛狂傲,成了不敬虔的人,恨惡知覺,
1:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ὑπεύθυνοι ἐγένοντο ἐλέγχοις ἰδοὺ προήσομαι ὑμῖν ἐμῆς πνοῆς ῥῆσιν διδάξω δὲ ὑμᾶς τὸν ἐμὸν λόγον
And have become liable to reproofs. Behold, I will pour out to you the utterance of my breath, and I will teach you my word.
又成了該受責備的。看哪,我要向你們發出我氣息的言語,要把我的話教導你們。
1:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐπειδὴ ἐκάλουν καὶ οὐχ ὑπηκούσατε καὶ ἐξέτεινον λόγους καὶ οὐ προσείχετε
Since I called and you did not obey, and I held out words and you paid no heed,
因為我呼喚,你們不聽從;我伸出話語,你們不理會;
1:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀλλὰ ἀκύρους ἐποιεῖτε ἐμὰς βουλάς τοῖς δὲ ἐμοῖς ἐλέγχοις ἠπειθήσατε
But made my counsels void and disobeyed my reproofs,
反倒使我的計謀歸於無效,又不順從我的責備;
1:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τοιγαροῦν κἀγὼ τῇ ὑμετέρᾳ ἀπωλείᾳ ἐπιγελάσομαι καταχαροῦμαι δέ ἡνίκα ἂν ἔρχηται ὑμῖν ὄλεθρος
Therefore I too will laugh at your destruction, and I will rejoice when ruin comes upon you,
所以我也必因你們的滅亡而發笑,你們遭毀滅的時候,我必歡喜;
1:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ὡς ἂν ἀφίκηται ὑμῖν ἄφνω θόρυβος ἡ δὲ καταστροφὴ ὁμοίως καταιγίδι παρῇ καὶ ὅταν ἔρχηται ὑμῖν θλῖψις καὶ πολιορκία ἢ ὅταν ἔρχηται ὑμῖν ὄλεθρος
And when tumult suddenly reaches you, and the overthrow arrives like a whirlwind, and when affliction and siege come upon you, or when ruin comes upon you.
就是在驚亂忽然臨到你們、傾覆如旋風般來到的時候,在患難與圍困臨到你們的時候,或在毀滅臨到你們的時候。
1:28▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἔσται γὰρ ὅταν ἐπικαλέσησθέ με ἐγὼ δὲ οὐκ εἰσακούσομαι ὑμῶν ζητήσουσίν με κακοὶ καὶ οὐχ εὑρήσουσιν
For it shall be that when you call upon me, I will not listen to you; evil men will seek me and will not find me;
那時你們呼求我,我卻不應允你們;惡人尋找我,卻尋不見;
1:29▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐμίσησαν γὰρ σοφίαν τὸν δὲ φόβον τοῦ κυρίου οὐ προείλαντο
For they hated wisdom and did not choose the fear of the Lord,
因為他們恨惡智慧,不揀選敬畏主,
1:30▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὐδὲ ἤθελον ἐμαῖς προσέχειν βουλαῖς ἐμυκτήριζον δὲ ἐμοὺς ἐλέγχους
Nor were they willing to heed my counsels, but scoffed at my reproofs.
也不肯聽從我的計謀,反倒嗤笑我的責備。
1:31▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τοιγαροῦν ἔδονται τῆς ἑαυτῶν ὁδοῦ τοὺς καρποὺς καὶ τῆς ἑαυτῶν ἀσεβείας πλησθήσονται
Therefore they will eat the fruits of their own way, and be filled with their own ungodliness.
所以他們必吃自己道路的果子,必飽嘗自己的不敬虔。
1:32▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀνθ’ ὧν γὰρ ἠδίκουν νηπίους φονευθήσονται καὶ ἐξετασμὸς ἀσεβεῖς ὀλεῖ
Because they wronged the simple, they will be slain, and scrutiny will destroy the ungodly.
因為他們苦待幼稚的人,就必被殺;查究必除滅不敬虔的人。
1:33▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὁ δὲ ἐμοῦ ἀκούων κατασκηνώσει ἐπ’ ἐλπίδι καὶ ἡσυχάσει ἀφόβως ἀπὸ παντὸς κακοῦ
But he who listens to me will dwell in hope, and will rest without fear of any evil."
惟有聽從我的,必安居在指望中,得享平靜,不懼怕一切的災禍。」
