οἱ ἐμοὶ λόγοι εἴρηνται ὑπὸ θεοῦ βασιλέως χρηματισμός ὃν ἐπαίδευσεν ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ
My words have been spoken by God; it is a king's oracle, which his mother taught him.
我的話語是神所說的,是君王的諭示,就是他母親所教導他的。
31:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τί τέκνον τηρήσεις τί ῥήσεις θεοῦ πρωτογενές σοὶ λέγω υἱέ τί τέκνον ἐμῆς κοιλίας τί τέκνον ἐμῶν εὐχῶν
What, child, will you keep? What, the sayings of God? Firstborn, to you I speak, my son: what, child of my womb? What, child of my vows?
孩子啊,你要謹守甚麼?是神的言語嗎?頭生的啊,我兒,我對你說:我腹中的孩子啊,怎樣呢?我許願所得的孩子啊,怎樣呢?

μὴ δῷς γυναιξὶ σὸν πλοῦτον καὶ τὸν σὸν νοῦν καὶ βίον εἰς ὑστεροβουλίαν
Do not give your wealth to women, nor your mind and your livelihood to after-regret.
不要把你的財富給婦女,也不要把你的心思和生計交給事後的懊悔。

μετὰ βουλῆς πάντα ποίει μετὰ βουλῆς οἰνοπότει οἱ δυνάσται θυμώδεις εἰσίν οἶνον δὲ μὴ πινέτωσαν
Do everything with counsel; drink wine with counsel. The mighty are hot-tempered; so let them not drink wine,
凡事都要照著謀略去行,喝酒也要照著謀略。掌權者容易發怒,所以不可喝酒,

ἵνα μὴ πιόντες ἐπιλάθωνται τῆς σοφίας καὶ ὀρθὰ κρῖναι οὐ μὴ δύνωνται τοὺς ἀσθενεῖς
lest, having drunk, they forget wisdom and be unable to judge the weak rightly.
免得他們喝了就忘記智慧,不能為軟弱的人施行正直的審判。
31:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
δίδοτε μέθην τοῖς ἐν λύπαις καὶ οἶνον πίνειν τοῖς ἐν ὀδύναις
Give strong drink to those in sorrow, and wine to drink to those in pain,
要把烈酒給憂愁的人,把酒給痛苦的人喝,

ἵνα ἐπιλάθωνται τῆς πενίας καὶ τῶν πόνων μὴ μνησθῶσιν ἔτι
that they may forget their poverty and remember their troubles no more.
好叫他們忘記貧窮,也不再記念自己的勞苦。
31:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἄνοιγε σὸν στόμα λόγῳ θεοῦ καὶ κρῖνε πάντας ὑγιῶς
Open your mouth with the word of God, and judge all men soundly.
要用神的話語開你的口,健全地審判眾人。
31:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἄνοιγε σὸν στόμα καὶ κρῖνε δικαίως διάκρινε δὲ πένητα καὶ ἀσθενῆ
Open your mouth and judge justly; give judgement for the poor and the weak.
要開你的口,按公義審判,為貧窮人和軟弱的人斷定是非。
31:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
γυναῖκα ἀνδρείαν τίς εὑρήσει τιμιωτέρα δέ ἐστιν λίθων πολυτελῶν ἡ τοιαύτη
Who will find a courageous wife? Such a one is more precious than costly stones.
誰能找著剛強的婦人呢?這樣的婦人比貴重的寶石更寶貴。
31:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
θαρσεῖ ἐπ’ αὐτῇ ἡ καρδία τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς ἡ τοιαύτη καλῶν σκύλων οὐκ ἀπορήσει
Her husband's heart takes courage in her; such a one will not lack good spoils.
她丈夫的心因她而壯膽;這樣的婦人不缺美好的戰利品。

ἐνεργεῖ γὰρ τῷ ἀνδρὶ ἀγαθὰ πάντα τὸν βίον
For she works good things for her husband all her life.
因為她一生都為丈夫作美善的事。

μηρυομένη ἔρια καὶ λίνον ἐποίησεν εὔχρηστον ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῆς
Winding wool and flax, she made it useful with her hands.
她捲繞羊毛和麻,用自己的雙手作成合用的東西。
31:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐγένετο ὡσεὶ ναῦς ἐμπορευομένη μακρόθεν συνάγει δὲ αὕτη τὸν βίον
She became like a ship trading from afar, and she gathers her living.
她成了好像從遠方作買賣的船隻,為自己積聚生計。
31:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἀνίσταται ἐκ νυκτῶν καὶ ἔδωκεν βρώματα τῷ οἴκῳ καὶ ἔργα ταῖς θεραπαίναις
And she rises while it is still night, and gave food to the household and tasks to her maidservants.
她夜間就起來,把食物給家中的人,把工作給使女。
31:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
θεωρήσασα γεώργιον ἐπρίατο ἀπὸ δὲ καρπῶν χειρῶν αὐτῆς κατεφύτευσεν κτῆμα
Having looked at a farm, she bought it; and from the fruits of her hands she planted a possession.
她察看田地就買下來,又用自己雙手的果實栽種產業。
31:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀναζωσαμένη ἰσχυρῶς τὴν ὀσφὺν αὐτῆς ἤρεισεν τοὺς βραχίονας αὐτῆς εἰς ἔργον
Having girded her loins strongly, she set her arms firmly to work.
她堅強地束上自己的腰,使膀臂穩固,去作工。
31:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐγεύσατο ὅτι καλόν ἐστιν τὸ ἐργάζεσθαι καὶ οὐκ ἀποσβέννυται ὅλην τὴν νύκτα ὁ λύχνος αὐτῆς
She tasted that working is good, and her lamp is not quenched all night long.
她嘗到作工是美好的,她的燈整夜不熄滅。
31:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τοὺς πήχεις αὐτῆς ἐκτείνει ἐπὶ τὰ συμφέροντα τὰς δὲ χεῖρας αὐτῆς ἐρείδει εἰς ἄτρακτον
She stretches out her forearms to what is profitable, and sets her hands to the spindle.
她伸出前臂去作有益的事,又把雙手按在紡錘上。
31:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
χεῖρας δὲ αὐτῆς διήνοιξεν πένητι καρπὸν δὲ ἐξέτεινεν πτωχῷ
She opened her hands wide to the needy, and stretched out fruit to the poor.
她向貧窮人張開雙手,又向困苦人伸出果實。
31:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὐ φροντίζει τῶν ἐν οἴκῳ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ὅταν που χρονίζῃ πάντες γὰρ οἱ παρ’ αὐτῆς ἐνδιδύσκονται
Her husband is not anxious about those at home whenever he tarries somewhere, for all who are with her are clothed.
她丈夫在外耽延的時候,不為家中的人掛慮,因為凡在她那裡的人都有衣服穿。
31:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
δισσὰς χλαίνας ἐποίησεν τῷ ἀνδρὶ αὐτῆς ἐκ δὲ βύσσου καὶ πορφύρας ἑαυτῇ ἐνδύματα
She made double cloaks for her husband, and garments of fine linen and purple for herself.
她為丈夫作了雙層的外袍,又用細麻和紫色布為自己作衣服。
31:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
περίβλεπτος δὲ γίνεται ἐν πύλαις ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ἡνίκα ἂν καθίσῃ ἐν συνεδρίῳ μετὰ τῶν γερόντων κατοίκων τῆς γῆς
Her husband becomes much admired in the gates, whenever he sits in the council with the elders, the inhabitants of the land.
她丈夫在城門口受人注目,就是他與地上居民中的長老一同坐在議會裡的時候。
31:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
σινδόνας ἐποίησεν καὶ ἀπέδοτο περιζώματα δὲ τοῖς Χαναναίοις
She made fine linen garments and sold them, and girdles to the Canaanites.
她作了細麻布的衣裳出售,又把腰帶賣給迦南人。
31:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
στόμα αὐτῆς διήνοιξεν προσεχόντως καὶ ἐννόμως καὶ τάξιν ἐστείλατο τῇ γλώσσῃ αὐτῆς
She opened her mouth carefully and lawfully, and set order for her tongue.
她開口的時候謹慎而合乎律法,又為自己的舌頭定下次序。
31:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἰσχὺν καὶ εὐπρέπειαν ἐνεδύσατο καὶ εὐφράνθη ἐν ἡμέραις ἐσχάταις
She clothed herself with strength and comeliness, and rejoiced in the last days.
她以力量和華美為衣,在末後的日子歡喜。
31:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
στεγναὶ διατριβαὶ οἴκων αὐτῆς σῖτα δὲ ὀκνηρὰ οὐκ ἔφαγεν
The dwellings of her house are close-sheltered, and she did not eat the food of idleness.
她家中的居處嚴密穩妥,她也不吃懶惰的飯食。
31:28▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τὸ στόμα δὲ ἀνοίγει σοφῶς καὶ νομοθέσμως ἡ δὲ ἐλεημοσύνη αὐτῆς ἀνέστησεν τὰ τέκνα αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπλούτησαν καὶ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ᾔνεσεν αὐτήν
She opens her mouth wisely and according to the law; and her almsgiving raised up her children and they became rich, and her husband praised her.
她開口有智慧,合乎法度;她的施捨使她的兒女興起,他們就富足了,她丈夫也稱讚她。
31:29▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
πολλαὶ θυγατέρες ἐκτήσαντο πλοῦτον πολλαὶ ἐποίησαν δυνατά σὺ δὲ ὑπέρκεισαι καὶ ὑπερῆρας πάσας
Many daughters have acquired wealth, many have done mighty deeds, but you surpass and have risen above them all.
許多女子得了財富,許多女子行了大能的事,但你超越她們,勝過了她們眾人。
31:30▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ψευδεῖς ἀρέσκειαι καὶ μάταιον κάλλος γυναικός γυνὴ γὰρ συνετὴ εὐλογεῖται φόβον δὲ κυρίου αὕτη αἰνείτω
Pleasing ways are false and a woman's beauty is vain; for an intelligent woman is blessed, and let her praise the fear of the Lord.
討人喜歡的姿態是虛假的,婦人的美貌是虛空的;因為聰明的婦人得稱讚,願她讚美對主的敬畏。
31:31▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
δότε αὐτῇ ἀπὸ καρπῶν χειρῶν αὐτῆς καὶ αἰνείσθω ἐν πύλαις ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς
Give her of the fruits of her hands, and let her husband be praised in the gates.
要把她雙手的果實分給她,願她的丈夫在城門口受稱讚。
