ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).
186:1
Versus continet 695. Postquam conspicuo Jesus decesserat actu, Reddideratque Dens famulum post bella quieti, Confestim Judæa tumens sibi poscere regem Incipit, et Dominum quae sit sententia poscit.
It contains 695 verses. 'After Jesus had departed from his conspicuous deed, and God had restored his servant to rest after the wars, straightway swelling Judaea begins to demand a king for itself, and asks the Lord what his judgement may be.'
本卷共六百九十五行。「約書亞從他顯赫的事業離世、神在諸戰之後使祂的僕人得享安息之後,狂傲的猶大立即開始為自己求立一王,並詢問主的旨意如何。」
