ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).
112:1
Nolunt enim a nobis ei qui crucifixus est supplicari, etc., ut in epist. 3 (col. 212, a), usque ad non rogemus in cœlo. Et mox (col. 215, c), Veni potius, sancte Isaia propheta, etc., usque ad quod in corpore malum patimur, pertulit Christus.
For they are unwilling that He who was crucified be supplicated by us, etc., as in epistle 3 (col. 212, a), down to 'we should not pray in heaven.' And soon after (col. 215, c): Come rather, holy prophet Isaiah, etc., down to 'the evil which we suffer in the body, Christ has endured.'
