And Elisaie the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, Gird up your loins, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Remmoth Galaad.
And you shall go in there and see there Jou son of Josaphat son of Namessi, and you shall go in and raise him up from the midst of his brothers, and bring him into an inner chamber within the chamber.
And you shall take the flask of oil and pour it on his head, and say, Thus says the Lord, I have anointed you king over Israel. And you shall open the door and flee, and not wait.

於是那少年人,就是那先知,往拉末基列去了。
So the young man, the prophet, went to Remmoth Galaad.
And he went in, and behold, the commanders of the army were sitting. And he said, I have a word for you, O commander. And Jou said, To which of us all? And he said, To you, O commander.
And he arose and went into the house, and he poured the oil on his head and said to him, Thus says the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel.
And you shall utterly destroy from before my face the house of Achaab your lord, and you shall avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the servants of the Lord at the hand of Jezabel,
and at the hand of the whole house of Achaab; and you shall cut off from the house of Achaab every one that urinates against a wall, both him that is shut up and him that is left in Israel.
And Jou came out to the servants of his lord, and they said to him, Is it peace? Why did this madman come to you? And he said to them, You know the man and his babbling.
And they said, That is false; tell us now. And Jou said to them, Thus and thus he spoke to me, saying, Thus says the Lord, I have anointed you king over Israel.
And when they heard it, they hurried and each took his garment and put it under him on the garem of the steps, and they blew the trumpet and said, Jou is king.
So Jou son of Josaphat son of Namessi conspired against Joram. Now Joram himself had been keeping guard at Remmoth Galaad, he and all Israel, before Azael king of Syria.
And king Joram had returned to be healed in Jezrael of the wounds which the Syrians inflicted on him when he fought against Azael king of Syria. And Jou said, If your soul is with me, let no fugitive go out of the city to go and report in Jezrael.
And he rode and went, even Jou, and went down to Jezrael, because Joram king of Israel was being treated in Jezrael for the arrow-wounds with which the Aramin had shot him at Rammath in the war against Azael king of Syria; for he was mighty and a man of power. And Ochozias king of Juda went down to see Joram.
And the watchman went up on the tower in Jezrael and saw the dust of Jou as he approached, and said, I see dust. And Joram said, Take a horseman and send him before them, and let him say, Is it peace?
And a horseman went to meet them and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? And Jou said, What have you to do with peace? Turn behind me. And the watchman reported, saying, The messenger came up to them and has not returned.
And he sent a second horseman, and he came to him and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? And Jou said, What have you to do with peace? Turn behind me.
And Joram said, Harness. And he harnessed a chariot. And Joram king of Israel and Ochozias king of Juda went out, each man in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jou, and found him in the portion of Nabouthai the Jezraelite.
And it came to pass when Joram saw Jou, that he said, Is it peace, Jou? And Jou said, What peace, while the harlotries of Jezabel your mother and her many sorceries continue?
And Jou said to Badekar his officer, Cast him into the portion of the field of Nabouthai the Jezraelite; for I remember, when you and I were riding on the teams behind Achaab his father, that the Lord took up this oracle against him, saying,
Surely I saw yesterday the blood of Nabouthai and the blood of his sons, says the Lord; and I will repay him in this portion, says the Lord. And now lift him up and cast him into the portion, according to the word of the Lord.
And Ochozias king of Juda saw it and fled by the way of Baithaggan. And Jou pursued after him and said, Him also! And he struck him in the chariot at the ascent of Gai, which is Ieblaam. And he fled to Mageddon and died there.
And they returned and told him, and he said, This is the word of the Lord which he spoke by the hand of his servant Eliou the Thesbite, saying, In the portion of Jezrael the dogs shall devour the flesh of Jezabel;
