ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And the sons of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Sin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.
And why is it that you brought us up out of Egypt to come to this evil place? It is a place where nothing is sown, and there are no fig trees nor vines nor pomegranates, nor is there water to drink.
And Moses and Aaron came from before the congregation to the door of the tent of witness, and they fell upon their faces; and the glory of the Lord appeared to them.
Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before them, and it shall give its water; and you shall bring forth water for them out of the rock, and you shall give drink to the congregation and to their livestock.
And Moses and Aaron assembled the congregation before the rock, and he said to them: Hear me, you disobedient ones; shall we bring you water out of this rock?
And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron: Because you did not believe, to sanctify me before the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.
And we cried out to the Lord, and the Lord heard our voice, and he sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt; and now we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your borders.
We will pass through your land. We will not go through fields nor through vineyards, nor will we drink water from your cistern; we will go by the royal road, we will not turn aside to the right or to the left, until we have passed your borders.
And the sons of Israel said to him: We will pass by along the mountain; and if we drink of your water, I and my livestock, I will give you the price. But the matter is nothing; we will pass by along the mountain.
Let Aaron be added to his people, for you shall not enter the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because you provoked me at the water of contention.
And he stripped Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; and Aaron died on the top of the mountain, and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.
