📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And it came in the days of Joakim son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the eleventh year of Zedekiah son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the captivity of Jerusalem, in the fifth month.
And the Lord said to me: Do not say, 'I am young,' for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and according to all that I command you, you shall speak.
And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying: What do you see? And I said: A cauldron heated from below, and its face is from the face of the north.
For behold, I am calling together all the kingdoms from the north of the earth, says the Lord; and they shall come, and each shall set his throne at the entrances of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all her walls round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
And I will speak with them in judgment concerning all their wickedness, in that they forsook me and sacrificed to foreign gods and worshipped the works of their own hands.
And you, gird up your loins and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not fear before their face, nor be dismayed before them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.
Behold, I have made you this day as a fortified city and as a strong bronze wall against all the kings of Judah and its rulers and the people of the land.
