23:1
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ τῷ Βαλακ οἰκοδόμησόν μοι ἐνταῦθα ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς καὶ ἑτοίμασόν μοι ἐνταῦθα ἑπτὰ μόσχους καὶ ἑπτὰ κριούς
巴蘭對巴勒說：你在這裡為我築七座壇，在這裡為我預備七隻公牛犢和七隻公綿羊。
And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves and seven rams.
23:2
καὶ ἐποίησεν Βαλακ ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν αὐτῷ Βαλααμ καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν
巴勒就照巴蘭所說的行了，在壇上獻了一隻公牛犢和一隻公綿羊。
And Balak did as Balaam told him, and offered up a calf and a ram on the altar.
23:3
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ παράστηθι ἐπὶ τῆς θυσίας σου καὶ πορεύσομαι εἴ μοι φανεῖται ὁ θεὸς ἐν συναντήσει καὶ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐάν μοι δείξῃ ἀναγγελῶ σοι καὶ παρέστη Βαλακ ἐπὶ τῆς θυσίας αὐτοῦ καὶ Βαλααμ ἐπορεύθη ἐπερωτῆσαι τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἐπορεύθη εὐθεῖαν
巴蘭對巴勒說：你站在你的祭物旁邊，我要去；或者神會向我顯現與我相遇。他指示我什麼話，我必告訴你。於是巴勒站在他的祭物旁邊，巴蘭去求問神，他一直往前去了。
And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your sacrifice, and I will go; perhaps God will appear to me to meet me, and whatever word he shows me I will declare to you. And Balak stood by his sacrifice, and Balaam went to enquire of God, and he went straight forward.
23:4
καὶ ἐφάνη ὁ θεὸς τῷ Βαλααμ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Βαλααμ τοὺς ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς ἡτοίμασα καὶ ἀνεβίβασα μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν
神向巴蘭顯現。巴蘭對他說：我預備了七座壇，在壇上獻了一隻公牛犢和一隻公綿羊。
And God appeared to Balaam; and Balaam said to him, I have prepared the seven altars, and have offered up a calf and a ram on the altar.
23:5
καὶ ἐνέβαλεν ὁ θεὸς ῥῆμα εἰς τὸ στόμα Βαλααμ καὶ εἶπεν ἐπιστραφεὶς πρὸς Βαλακ οὕτως λαλήσεις
神把話放在巴蘭口中，說：你轉回巴勒那裡，要這樣說。
And God put a word into the mouth of Balaam, and said, Turn back to Balak, and thus you shall speak.
23:6
καὶ ἀπεστράφη πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ὅδε ἐφειστήκει ἐπὶ τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες Μωαβ μετ’ αὐτοῦ
他就轉回到巴勒那裡；看哪，巴勒同摩押的眾首領都站在他的燔祭旁邊。
And he turned back to him; and he was standing by his burnt offerings, and all the princes of Moab with him.
23:7
καὶ ἐγενήθη πνεῦμα θεοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ καὶ ἀναλαβὼν τὴν παραβολὴν αὐτοῦ εἶπεν ἐκ Μεσοποταμίας μετεπέμψατό με Βαλακ βασιλεὺς Μωαβ ἐξ ὀρέων ἀπ’ ἀνατολῶν λέγων δεῦρο ἄρασαί μοι τὸν Ιακωβ καὶ δεῦρο ἐπικατάρασαί μοι τὸν Ισραηλ
神的靈臨到他身上，他就提起他的比喻說：摩押王巴勒從美索不達米亞，從東方的山嶺召了我來，說：來，為我咒詛雅各；來，為我咒罵以色列。
And a spirit of God came upon him, and he took up his parable and said: Balak king of Moab sent for me out of Mesopotamia, out of the mountains from the east, saying, Come, curse Jacob for me, and come, denounce Israel for me.
23:8
τί ἀράσωμαι ὃν μὴ καταρᾶται κύριος ἢ τί καταράσωμαι ὃν μὴ καταρᾶται ὁ θεός
耶和華沒有咒詛的，我怎能咒詛呢？神沒有咒詛的，我怎能咒罵呢？
How shall I curse one whom the Lord does not curse? Or how shall I denounce one whom God does not curse?
23:9
ὅτι ἀπὸ κορυφῆς ὀρέων ὄψομαι αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπὸ βουνῶν προσνοήσω αὐτόν ἰδοὺ λαὸς μόνος κατοικήσει καὶ ἐν ἔθνεσιν οὐ συλλογισθήσεται
我從山頂看見他，從岡陵望見他。看哪，這民必獨居，不算在列國之中。
For from the top of the mountains I shall see him, and from the hills I shall observe him. Behold, a people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
23:10
τίς ἐξηκριβάσατο τὸ σπέρμα Ιακωβ καὶ τίς ἐξαριθμήσεται δήμους Ισραηλ ἀποθάνοι ἡ ψυχή μου ἐν ψυχαῖς δικαίων καὶ γένοιτο τὸ σπέρμα μου ὡς τὸ σπέρμα τούτων
誰能細查雅各的後裔？誰能數點以色列的眾民？願我的性命如義人的性命而死，願我的後裔如他們的後裔。
Who has exactly determined the seed of Jacob? And who shall count the peoples of Israel? May my soul die among the souls of the righteous, and may my seed become as their seed.
23:11
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ τί πεποίηκάς μοι εἰς κατάρασιν ἐχθρῶν μου κέκληκά σε καὶ ἰδοὺ εὐλόγηκας εὐλογίαν
巴勒對巴蘭說：你向我做的是什麼呢？我召你來是為咒詛我的仇敵，看哪，你竟全然為他們祝福。
And Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them with a blessing.
23:12
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ οὐχὶ ὅσα ἐὰν ἐμβάλῃ ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸ στόμα μου τοῦτο φυλάξω λαλῆσαι
巴蘭對巴勒說：凡神放在我口中的，我豈不當謹守著說嗎？
And Balaam said to Balak, Whatever God puts into my mouth, shall I not be careful to speak that?
23:13
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Βαλακ δεῦρο ἔτι μετ’ ἐμοῦ εἰς τόπον ἄλλον ἐξ ὧν οὐκ ὄψῃ αὐτὸν ἐκεῖθεν ἀλλ’ ἢ μέρος τι αὐτοῦ ὄψῃ πάντας δὲ οὐ μὴ ἴδῃς καὶ κατάρασαί μοι αὐτὸν ἐκεῖθεν
巴勒對他說：請你再同我到別的地方去，從那裡你看不見他的全體，只能看見他的一部分，眾人你必看不見；你從那裡為我咒詛他。
And Balak said to him, Come still with me to another place, from which you will not see him, but only a part of him you shall see, and all of them you shall not see; and curse him for me from there.
23:14
καὶ παρέλαβεν αὐτὸν εἰς ἀγροῦ σκοπιὰν ἐπὶ κορυφὴν λελαξευμένου καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν ἐκεῖ ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς καὶ ἀνεβίβασεν μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν
他就領巴蘭到了田野的瞭望處，到了鑿過的山頂上，在那裡築了七座壇，在壇上獻了一隻公牛犢和一隻公綿羊。
And he took him to the lookout of the field, to the top of the hewn place, and built there seven altars, and offered up a calf and a ram on the altar.
23:15
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ παράστηθι ἐπὶ τῆς θυσίας σου ἐγὼ δὲ πορεύσομαι ἐπερωτῆσαι τὸν θεόν
巴蘭對巴勒說：你站在你的祭物旁邊，我要去求問神。
And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your sacrifice, and I will go to enquire of God.
23:16
καὶ συνήντησεν ὁ θεὸς τῷ Βαλααμ καὶ ἐνέβαλεν ῥῆμα εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν ἀποστράφητι πρὸς Βαλακ καὶ τάδε λαλήσεις
神迎見巴蘭，把話放在他口中，說：你轉回巴勒那裡，要這樣說。
And God met Balaam, and put a word into his mouth, and said, Turn back to Balak, and thus you shall speak.
23:17
καὶ ἀπεστράφη πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ὅδε ἐφειστήκει ἐπὶ τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες Μωαβ μετ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Βαλακ τί ἐλάλησεν κύριος
他就轉回到巴勒那裡；看哪，巴勒同摩押的眾首領都站在他的燔祭旁邊。巴勒問他說：耶和華說了什麼？
And he turned back to him; and he was standing by his whole burnt offering, and all the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said to him, What has the Lord spoken?
23:18
καὶ ἀναλαβὼν τὴν παραβολὴν αὐτοῦ εἶπεν ἀνάστηθι Βαλακ καὶ ἄκουε ἐνώτισαι μάρτυς υἱὸς Σεπφωρ
巴蘭就提起他的比喻說：巴勒啊，起來聽；西撥的兒子啊，作見證的，要側耳而聽。
And he took up his parable and said: Rise up, Balak, and hear; give ear as a witness, son of Sepphor.
23:19
οὐχ ὡς ἄνθρωπος ὁ θεὸς διαρτηθῆναι οὐδὲ ὡς υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου ἀπειληθῆναι αὐτὸς εἴπας οὐχὶ ποιήσει λαλήσει καὶ οὐχὶ ἐμμενεῖ
神並不像人那樣會被哄騙，也不像人子那樣會受威嚇。他說了，豈不去做嗎？他說話，豈不持守嗎？
God is not like a man, to be deceived, nor like a son of man, to be threatened. Has he himself spoken, and will he not do it? Shall he speak, and will he not abide by it?
23:20
ἰδοὺ εὐλογεῖν παρείλημμαι εὐλογήσω καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποστρέψω
看哪，我是受命來祝福的；我必祝福，絕不收回。
Behold, I have been taken up to bless; I will bless, and will not turn it back.
23:21
οὐκ ἔσται μόχθος ἐν Ιακωβ οὐδὲ ὀφθήσεται πόνος ἐν Ισραηλ κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτοῦ μετ’ αὐτοῦ τὰ ἔνδοξα ἀρχόντων ἐν αὐτῷ
在雅各中必沒有艱難，在以色列中也必不見勞苦。耶和華他的神與他同在，首領們的榮耀在他中間。
There shall be no toil in Jacob, nor shall trouble be seen in Israel. The Lord his God is with him; the glorious things of rulers are in him.
23:22
θεὸς ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν αὐτοὺς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ὡς δόξα μονοκέρωτος αὐτῷ
是神領他們出埃及；他有獨角獸的榮耀。
It is God who brought them out of Egypt; he has as it were the glory of a unicorn.
23:23
οὐ γάρ ἐστιν οἰωνισμὸς ἐν Ιακωβ οὐδὲ μαντεία ἐν Ισραηλ κατὰ καιρὸν ῥηθήσεται Ιακωβ καὶ τῷ Ισραηλ τί ἐπιτελέσει ὁ θεός
在雅各中沒有觀兆，在以色列中也沒有占卜。到了時候，必有話對雅各說，也對以色列說神要成就什麼。
For there is no augury in Jacob, nor divination in Israel; in due time it shall be told to Jacob, and to Israel, what God will accomplish.
23:24
ἰδοὺ λαὸς ὡς σκύμνος ἀναστήσεται καὶ ὡς λέων γαυριωθήσεται οὐ κοιμηθήσεται ἕως φάγῃ θήραν καὶ αἷμα τραυματιῶν πίεται
看哪，這民起來好像小獅子，挺身好像獅子；牠必不躺臥，直等吃了獵物，喝了被殺者的血。
Behold, a people shall rise up as a lion cub, and shall exalt itself as a lion; it shall not lie down until it has eaten the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.
23:25
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ οὔτε κατάραις καταράσῃ μοι αὐτὸν οὔτε εὐλογῶν μὴ εὐλογήσῃς αὐτόν
巴勒對巴蘭說：你既不為我咒詛他，也就不要祝福他。
And Balak said to Balaam, Neither curse him at all for me, nor bless him at all.
23:26
καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς Βαλααμ εἶπεν τῷ Βαλακ οὐκ ἐλάλησά σοι λέγων τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐὰν λαλήσῃ ὁ θεός τοῦτο ποιήσω
巴蘭回答巴勒說：我不是告訴你說，神所說的話，我必照著行嗎？
And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, Whatever word God speaks, that I will do?
23:27
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ δεῦρο παραλάβω σε εἰς τόπον ἄλλον εἰ ἀρέσει τῷ θεῷ καὶ καταρᾶσαί μοι αὐτὸν ἐκεῖθεν
巴勒對巴蘭說：來吧，我領你到別的地方去；或者神喜悅，你就從那裡為我咒詛他。
And Balak said to Balaam, Come, let me take you to another place, if it shall please God, and curse him for me from there.
23:28
καὶ παρέλαβεν Βαλακ τὸν Βαλααμ ἐπὶ κορυφὴν τοῦ Φογωρ τὸ παρατεῖνον εἰς τὴν ἔρημον
巴勒就領巴蘭到了弗歌珥的山頂，就是那伸向曠野的地方。
And Balak took Balaam to the top of Phogor, which stretches out towards the wilderness.
23:29
καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ οἰκοδόμησόν μοι ὧδε ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς καὶ ἑτοίμασόν μοι ὧδε ἑπτὰ μόσχους καὶ ἑπτὰ κριούς
巴蘭對巴勒說：你在這裡為我築七座壇，在這裡為我預備七隻公牛犢和七隻公綿羊。
And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves and seven rams.
23:30
καὶ ἐποίησεν Βαλακ καθάπερ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Βαλααμ καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν
巴勒就照巴蘭所說的行了，在壇上獻了一隻公牛犢和一隻公綿羊。
And Balak did just as Balaam told him, and offered up a calf and a ram on the altar.
