📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

you shall take some of the firstfruits of the produce of your land, which the Lord your God gives you, and put it in a basket, and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses for his name to be invoked there.
And you shall come to the priest who is in office in those days and say to him, I declare today to the Lord my God that I have come into the land which the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.
And you shall respond and say before the Lord your God: My father cast off Syria and went down into Egypt and sojourned there, few in number; and there he became a great nation, a multitude many and great.
And the Lord brought us out of Egypt, he himself, with great strength and with a mighty hand and with his uplifted arm and with great visions and with signs and with wonders.
And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the produce of the land which you gave me, O Lord, a land flowing with milk and honey. And you shall set them down before the Lord your God and shall do obeisance there before the Lord your God.
And you shall rejoice in all the good things which the Lord your God has given you and your household — you and the Levite and the sojourner who is among you.
When in the third year you have finished tithing all the tithe of the produce of your land, you shall give the second tithe to the Levite and the sojourner and the orphan and the widow, and they shall eat in your cities and be filled.
And you shall say before the Lord your God: I have cleared out the holy things from my house and have given them to the Levite and the sojourner and the orphan and the widow, according to all the commandments which you commanded me. I have not transgressed your commandment, nor have I forgotten it.
And I have not eaten of them in my grief, nor have I offered any of them for an unclean use, nor have I given any of them to the dead. I have obeyed the voice of the Lord my God; I have done according to all that you commanded me.
Look down from your holy house, from heaven, and bless your people Israel and the land which you have given them, as you swore to our fathers to give us a land flowing with milk and honey.
On this day the Lord your God has commanded you to do all these statutes and the judgments; and you shall keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul.
and to set you above all the nations, as he has made you renowned and a boast and glorious, that you may be a people holy to the Lord your God, just as he spoke.
