ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And he said to Judah, Let us build these cities and make walls and towers and gates and bars, while we have dominion over the land; for as we sought the Lord our God, he sought us out, and gave us rest all around, and made us prosper.
And Asa had an army of men bearing arms, carrying shields and spears, in the land of Judah three hundred thousand, and in the land of Benjamin targeteers and archers two hundred fifty thousand; all these were warriors of valor.
And Asa cried to the Lord his God and said, Lord, it is not impossible with you to save with many or with few. Strengthen us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you, and in your name we have come against this great multitude. O Lord our God, let no man prevail against you.
And Asa and his people pursued as far as Gedor; and the Ethiopians fell, so that there was no preserving among them, for they were crushed before the Lord and before his army; and they carried off much spoil.
And they cut down their villages around Gedor, for a terror from the Lord came upon them; and they plundered all their cities, for much spoil came to them.
