The name of the Trinity is one. For there is no other name, as we read in the Acts of the Apostles, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If, the Son being set aside, one believes in the name of the Father alone, then the Savior must be said not to save; and again, if, the Father being excluded, we are won by the name of the Redeemer alone, then the Father has ceased from this redemption, of whom it is written that He sent redemption to His people (Ps. 110:9); whereas the Apostle says also of the Holy Spirit: In whom you are sealed unto the day of your redemption (Eph. 4:30).
