ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

22:1
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Say to Aaron and to his sons that they be careful concerning the holy things of the sons of Israel, all that they sanctify to me, so that they do not profane my holy name. I am the Lord.
Say to them: Throughout your generations, any man of all your seed who approaches the holy things that the sons of Israel sanctify to the Lord while his uncleanness is upon him—that soul shall be utterly destroyed from me. I am the Lord your God.
And any man of the seed of Aaron the priest who is leprous or has a discharge shall not eat of the holy things until he is cleansed; also whoever touches any uncleanness of a dead body, or a man from whom an emission of seed goes out,
or whoever touches any unclean creeping thing by which he will be defiled, or a person by whom he will be defiled, according to all his uncleanness—
the person who touches any of these shall be unclean until evening; he shall not eat of the holy things unless he washes his body with water.
And when the sun sets, he shall be clean, and then he may eat of the holy things, for it is his bread.
He shall not eat what dies of itself or what is torn by beasts, lest he be defiled by them. I am the Lord.
And they shall keep my charges, lest they bear sin because of them and die because of them, if they profane them. I am the Lord, the God who sanctifies them.
And no one of another race shall eat the holy things; a priest's sojourner or a hired servant shall not eat the holy things.
But if a priest acquires a person as property with silver, that one may eat of his bread; and those born in his house, they also may eat of his bread.
And if the daughter of a priest is married to a man of another race, she shall not eat of the firstfruits of the holy things.
But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or is driven out, and has no offspring, and returns to her father's house as in her youth, she may eat of her father's bread; but no one of another race shall eat of it.
And if a man eats of the holy things in ignorance, he shall add a fifth part to it and give the holy thing to the priest.
And they shall not profane the holy things of the sons of Israel, which they set apart for the Lord,
and so bring upon themselves the guilt of a trespass by eating their holy things; for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the congregation of Israel, and say to them: Any man of the sons of Israel, or of the sons of the sojourners who are joined to them in Israel, who offers his gifts according to any vow of theirs or according to any choice of theirs, whatever they offer to God as a whole burnt offering—
for you to be accepted, they shall be unblemished males from the herds, from the sheep, or from the goats.
Anything that has a blemish in it they shall not bring near to the Lord, for it will not be acceptable for you.
And if a man offers a sacrifice of deliverance to the Lord, specifying a vow according to choice, or at your feasts, from the herds or from the sheep, it shall be unblemished so as to be accepted; there shall be no blemish at all in it.
The blind, or the injured, or one with a cut tongue, or one with warts, or with wild scab, or having tetter—these they shall not bring near to the Lord, nor shall you give any of them as a burnt offering on the altar to the Lord.
A calf or a sheep with a cut ear or a docked tail you may make into slaughter-offerings for yourself; but for your vow it shall not be accepted.
What is crushed, or squeezed, or cut off, or torn away you shall not bring near to the Lord; nor shall you do this in your land.
Nor shall you offer from the hand of a foreigner any of these as the gifts of your God, for there is corruption in them, a blemish is in them; these shall not be accepted for you.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
When a calf or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days under its mother; and from the eighth day and onward it shall be accepted as a gift, a burnt offering to the Lord.
And whether a cow or a ewe, you shall not slaughter her and her young in one day.
And if you sacrifice a sacrifice, a vow of gladness, to the Lord, you shall sacrifice it so as to be accepted for you.
It shall be eaten on that same day; you shall not leave any of the meat until morning. I am the Lord.
And you shall keep my commandments and do them.
And you shall not profane the name of the Holy One; and I shall be sanctified in the midst of the sons of Israel. I am the Lord who sanctifies you,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt so as to be your God. I am the Lord.
