📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

When I heal Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim and the wickedness of Samaria shall be uncovered, for they wrought falsehood; and a thief will come in to him, a robber stripping people on his road.
so that they may sing together as those who sing together in their heart. I have remembered all their wickednesses; now their devices have encircled them; they have come before my face.
For their hearts were kindled like an oven while they dashed upon others. All night Ephraim was filled with sleep; morning came, and he was kindled like the blaze of a fire.
Wherever they go, I will cast my net over them; like the birds of heaven I will bring them down; I will discipline them at the report of their affliction.
They turned away to nothing; they became like a taut bow. Their rulers shall fall by the sword because of the untaughtness of their tongue; this is their derision in the land of Egypt.
