ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

A word of the Lord which came to Hosee son of Beeri, in the days of Ozias and Ioatham and Achaz and Ezekias, kings of Judah, and in the days of Ieroboam son of Ioas, king of Israel.
The beginning of a word of the Lord to Hosee. And the Lord said to Hosee: Go, take for yourself a wife of whoredom and children of whoredom, for the land in playing the whore shall play the whore, turning away from behind the Lord.
And the Lord said to him: Call his name Iezrael, for yet a little while and I will avenge the blood of Iezrael on the house of Iou, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.
And she conceived again and bore a daughter. And he said to him: Call her name Not-pitied, for I will no longer continue to pity the house of Israel, but rather I will surely set myself against them.
But the sons of Judah I will pity, and I will save them by the Lord their God; and I will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by chariots, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.
